I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Hey, Billyjoe, I’ve been looking at BORN for a few weeks now. I was afraid to get in this morning at 13. BAM! 16 when I got out of my last class. Any thoughts?
John Henry,
BORN is a 2X uptrender. If it drops back, recovers, and becomes a 3X uptrender I'll have a buy on it at 4% below price at close of 3rd appearance day.
I don't see any news on ISLN as far as being taken over. They just announced a new facility to be built in Minneapolis to compliment their Seattle operations. With a 1.72 bil. market cap I'm sure they have been targeted by some larger company but it would all be speculation.

I heard on NBR last week that ISLN was up two points due to rumor of a take over. I also read in IBD that Dell or IBM may go after ISLN. I can’t find the article.
Words on Wall Street that AAPL may be looking to buy ARMH. Any thoughts?
I'm not clear on the 3rd appearance day? I'm hoping for a point or two pull back Monday. What do you think about shorting for a point or two?

John Henry,
This is the first I've heard of these rumors. Most of these have been pulling back 4% after making my list 3 times but they don't always, ISLN hasn't yet.
Wow it takes a lot of guts to buy HNR at this level, the "RSI" is screaming "short me now". Anyway this is a crazy stock with crazy uptrend. Best of luck.

Wooish, you could have bought HNR at 11.37 today. At close you'd be up .55, nearly 5%. This is all a big experiment on my part. Nothing is for certain.
Ya know billy, with all the guys on this forum I'll bet even Baristas will make volume on Monday. hee
River,
I was just wondering how long it would take me to drive to the nearest Barista. And I don't even drink coffee!
Gotta run, here comes the Mrs. with a rolling pin.
