If I wrote a stock newsletter it would say " I strongly advise you to consider buying shares of VLO at this bargain price". But, since I don't I won't. Here's something worth reading.
http://seekingalpha.com/article/2547...h?source=yahoo It was written days before this dip.
Correction, the article was posted today. Maybe written before the market opened.
VLO is also a 3X uptrender with a target of 32.39.

Even Mad Money's Jim Cramer said publicly two nights ago to Buy Buy Buy NVDA.
I'm sure people have problems with him, but I think he's a funny toon. If you picture him as bugs bunny, it makes the show so much more enjoyable.

Your picks are very impressive. I have to admit I have not follow any of your picks but I will start looking to buy some of your picks if time allows. Great job buddy.

Hags,
I ran the results again eliminating all stops. With those that were in the "buy" zone I changed purchase price to closing price on qualification day. This took at least 4% profit from those 24. With the 16 that went up never dropping into the zone I used as purchase price the lowest price the stock reached after qualification but before reaching target. Then I calculated the highest price achieved since the targets were hit. These are the results. These numbers can be used to determine a sell limit order. Turns out 16% was way too early to sell all but 1. The newest, NVMI, is not in the calculations and ISLN also isn't since price couldn't be determined.

ENTR-----75.60%-----------MERC--29.35

thanks billy for looking at ye results for me....Originally posted by billyjoe View PostHags,
I checked the 16 target hitters that never were in the buy zone. I couldn't find historical data on ISLN since it was bought out and delisted. The other 15 all went up more than 16% from the lowest price after I posted. Maybe I should just say "buy at tomorrow's open" instead of trying to squeeze out another 4% (gained by making buy zone 96% of close). Here are the 15 that were never in the buy zone and the % of closeness they got to the zone before reaching target.
ENTR 4.15%, NSU 3.20%, BORN 2.64%, CCME 2.83%, HL 3.66%, EXK 4.18%
PAL 2.94%, SPRD 3.00%, HYC 5.96%, DDS 2.47%, KOG 1.68%, IDCC 1.73%
WAVX .7%, MERC .88%, JDSU 2.33%
Now I'll check those that hit target and also dropped into the buy zone and see how they'd have faired had they been bought at next day's open.

NVMI blew past target of 10.70 today hitting 11.00 this morning. It took 32 days and was in the buy zone of 9.22 or lower on 1/20. That makes 42/56.
