I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. HOC is buy at 55.38 or less with a target of 64.24

HOC hit target today in 25 days. I posted it on 3/11 at 55.38. Had you bought at low of 53.27 on 3/16 and sold at high of 65 today you'd have gained 22% in 20 days.
I looked back and read every post on every page of this thread and it's outstanding. I was wondering where you get this VV vst scale where it has to be 1.4? I've put the rest in a stock screen, but I have no idea where the VV scale is, or even what VV stands for, or if it's something available to me. You put in a lot of work on this and I thank you for it.

I think VV is vuvuzela...those horns at the World Cup.

em26jamie,
Thanks for the kind words. VV stands for Vectorvest. They often have a special where you can sign up for several weeks for $9.95. The demo would explain it all. I set up the volume parameters and daily price increase requirements then called customer support asking what vst number on the 0-2.0 scale was most significant in predicting future price appreciation. They told me that extensive backtesting showed that at 1.4 most stocks began to move. I combined the 1.4 with the 100,000 average daily volume with 50% daily volume increase and minimum 1.5% daily price increase to come up with the uptrender. Then checked the 2X uptrenders vs. the 3X uptrenders and found that the 3Xers outproduced by at least 25%.
TDSC reached and surpassed its target today at 57.79 in just 8 days. Had you bought it a day after I posted at a low of 47.80 and sold at 57.75 a few minutes ago you'd have made 20.8% in 7 days.

I was going to come in here and say it blew by it target today. I got in at 48.39 and my limit order executed today at the target for a 17.46% gain. Pretty darn good for a week. Thanks.
Here are the dirty dozen, the worst 12 uptrenders with date posted.

-4.1-----ORBK Jan 21
-3.1-----IPGP Mar 24
-2.7-----INTT Feb 7

There's still hope for several of these although it does seem they start
going bad after 9 weeks. Only 4 hit target after 60 days have past.
51-12 is a pretty good record. It might not be 28 in a row, but it's still very impressive. It's also very impressive that this is only over a span of a little over a year. I hope that trend continues.
