At 10.07 AM My Stock Picker RT program had HAL as its FIRST PICK The price was $70.63 with a Target of $75.57 or 7% and a stop of $67.10 or around 5% . The Computer program analyzes 1000s of stocks and it comes up with picks that have a high probability of rising over the short term. Yesterdays pick was KNDI , and that has done well so far. From Yesterday" KNDI Is still coming up #1 On My Daily Stock Picker program. At current price of $19.68 it is "SUGGESTED" that you set at 7% Target Price of $21.06 and a 5% stock Loss at $18.70. Take your profit or loss when either of the 2 criteria are met., and then invest THAT total amount into your next trade! Obviously it you score 7% , your total amount will be 7% more than your original investment, but if you lose 5% your total will now be 5% less than your original investment. Some brokerages like TD ameritrade will allow you to set a dual order , so whichever target is reached first .....that will terminate both trades"

Folks This is what a Yahoo Poster said about the prospects for ETRM REMEMBER THIS IS ALL HYPOTHETICAL :

" FDA approval would make this stock lift off like crazy. But until then, I think we'll see a run-up to the highs $2s. FDA approval from there will launch us into double digits. A 400% increase on the day after approval is modest, in my opinion. If we close at $2.85 the day before approval, then I wouldn't be surprised to see us trading in the $14s the next day.
We are talking about a potential multi-billion dollar technology. ARNA was capped at $1.7B by year end 2012. For a pill. 2nd Pick is MBI a well respected property insurer , but investors are fearful because MBI holds guarantees on Peurto Rican debt . If Puerto Rico does not honor its debt obligations MBI could suffer losses in the billions. Peurto Rican officials say that Peurto Rico will definitely honor its debt obligations and not default! This is why the stock has been beaten down . MBI closed yesterday at $9.41 , but its book value is $17.15 . Yes MBI is "RISKY" , and definitely not the stock for pregnant nuns, , orphans , and children.

Folks I do own DRTX which recently had one of their antibiotic drugs approved. I noted this comment from another satisfied DRTX owner on the internet , and it reads as follows," Durata is one of the safest current plays in the entire market to garner an investor solid gains before the end of 2014. A modest price target is $20 for 2014. I believe that a longer term price target by the end of 2015 is $35. Dalvance is being significantly under valued and discounted by the market at this point. This makes Durata an excellent investment for both short term and longer term investors.
Remember, Durata executed FDA approval of Dalvance nearly seamlessly. Now they have a higher dose Dalvance one time treatment in stage 3 trials and they are working diligently on marketing the approved two dose treatment. Their are doubters out there, but a good company plus an excellent FDA approved antibiotic = success.
This one will require some patience, but watch the share price slowly rise over time and enjoy. "

Hey P7,

The short and medium term does look favourable for ethanol stocks such as GPRE..........
I am in both GPRE and PEIX for the last while. The one that I wish I had gotten into but didn't was REX.

With the cooler summer weather, and the ensuing bumper crop of corn, the 2nd quarter earnings report coming out shortly should provide a smile to many investors. There has been a runup until of these stocks in the last little while, however there should be plenty more to the upside.

Phoenix, I bought WIN on june 2nd and again on june 6th and already got over 24 free shares from reinvesting. Up over 6%. WIN showed up on 2 different VV screens, one for high stable dividend stocks, the other based on being above a 10 day and 65 day moving average and a moving average of relative timing. So far so good.

Hey guys, I need some guidance. A while back I jumped the gun on a speculative stock, the one with the vagal nerve apparatus for weight loss, ETRM. I bought it at 1.83 but it is now 1.57. I hate walking away from money but is it time to take it out back and put it out of it's misery or do you think this could fly?

noshady, Like you said ETRM is highly speculative. My information is that next earnings report is July 28th. Analysts seem to like it. Do you want to gamble on a great earnings report? If it misses you could easily be down another 10% or more. Whenever I've taken such chances I lose at least 75% of the time. Is it a gamble or an investment? I'm with whoever said. "Trade what is happening, not what you think will happen".
