Onvo
I'm interested. I'm going to go out on limb with some speculative picks. First in ONVO . A bio 3D printing company. It's already been pumped and dumped fiercely (thanks to unscrupulous practices of "Seeking Alpha" (and I will never tire of speaking out about that!) and I'll dig around for another and get back to you."Whatever you can do or dream you can , begin it. noshady, I first looked at ONVO when Phoenix mentioned DDD and I read about all the competing 3-D businesses. ONVO seems as if it could double on hype alone, just a couple good stories or mention on the news could do it. Longterm it's about as speculative as can be but that should make it ripe as a takeover candidate also. A few $$ in it could be both fun and profitable.

mimo, I think the best shot at a double is a small biotech with a blockbuster drug in phase 3 trials. A failure and it drops maybe 90%, but if it cranks out a successful billion dollar product, a double is easy. I'm still thinking and have a couple in mind.

You bring up a good point - perhaps we should enlarge the contest to include short sales - for those who play that side of the market - what do you think?Tim - Retired Problem Solver

OK everyone, I have modified the rules to allow opening short positions.
Winner is largest percentage increase (or decrease) based upon closing price by close of regular business hours on the NYSE December 31, 2013.
Specify if your opening transaction is LONG or SHORT. If you do not specify anything, I will assume you want to go LONG.
For those who have already entered their two stocks, you have a chance now to change your selection(s).
See post #1 for all rules and current entries.Tim - Retired Problem Solver

2 long picks!
1. DDD LONG What we have here is a company leading the 3D Printing wave of the future!
2. AEZS is my biopharma pick . Pretty much AEZS has drugs in the pipeline, what we're hoping for is that at least one of their drugs will hit it big!
