Tim, I only see about 10% short interest in DBD. It looks real bad almost in all areas. The only redeeming features are dividend 3.85%, P/Sales .66, and next years earnings projections. Q/Q sales are bad and Q/Q earnings are worse. It ranks 17th out of 21 stocks in its industry group. Not much to like unless it is so bad things can only get better.

Thanks, Billy, for your input. I am going to watch this closely - I know many who work there - the corp headquarters are just down the road from me.

One possible reason for Downfall of DBD is the fact that they do sell safes ..........and no one has a job to to put money into a safe anymore! LOL

MIMO I was merely jesting. I did check out the company through Yahoo, and did see that they do have an impressive line of products!

Tim, I'm holding LF and am confident this is a blip that LF will recover from shortly. The fundies show no decline. I don't know if this news had an effect on the price: http://www.bloomberg.com/video/excha...tml?cmpid=yhoo , but especially long term Leapfrog seems to be a dominant player in its field.

                      Take-Two Interactive (TTWO)

Interesting article on a company and industry I have ignored in the past. Looks like support around 16.50-16.75. May be able to buy when the announcement effect ("sell on the news") kicks in. What do you think? Below is the beginning of the article from the WSJ.

                      • By
                      • JACK HOUGH

Take-Two Interactive TTWO -2.70% shares have climbed to $19 from $10 in a year, in anticipation of the Sept. 17 release of Grand Theft Auto V, which could be the company's best-selling videogame ever.
History says shareholders should take the cash and run before hot anticipation of a profit boost turns to the realization that next year's results won't measure up. But this time around, there's reason to believe Take-Two (TTWO) will break out of a dozen-year cycle of jumps and spills. Shares could gain another 30% over the next year.
The Grand Theft Auto series has sold more than 125 million units and garnered some of the best critical ratings ever. The problem for investors is that Take-Two has tended to enjoy plump profits during GTA years and steep losses in between. From 2000 to early 2009, the stock went from $6 to $13, to $5, to $26, to $11, to $27, and back to $6, in that order. It didn't help that previous management pleaded guilty in 2007 to falsifying business records.

Tim, I don't like any game manufacturers. Got burned more than once and that was when they were a hot item. My son thinks the newest Grand Theft Auto will be a success but in the long term sees a continued downtrend for the industry. There's a lot of red showing on TTWO's FINVIZ page. Somebody migjht make $$ on it but I'd look for something that is more interesting to me.

Here's an unofficial official Watch These Stocks stock. LBMH. Why ? Because I haven't bought it yet, it is very low priced and therefore, dangerous. On the other hand it pays a whopping 7% dividend, is one of the highest ranked VV stocks, and the chart is nice, plus it has great earnings. http://www2.barchart.com/charts/stoc...tyle=technical

Bought LBMH at 1.89 and III at 3.533. LBMH could be breaking out from cup/handle formation and I look for III to breakout from consolidation. Both are at or close to 52 week highs. I usually don't buy stocks this low priced but these are exceptional.

My lone contribution to this thread, SAM, has done very well too. It's up over 65% ($149 to $246) since I wrote it here. I think I did pretty good.
