    Hi Ernie,
Your humor is fine, the world needs more humor.
Your explanations of why you like a stock is great. It equates your analysis to real world parameters.

What I would like to see is a short summary of why you did not pick the other 4 in your final five. This would help me understand what am missing when I pick one of your five and you don't. This is just a thought and may be more work for you than it is worth.

Either way, I really appreciate what you are doing and I am very glad that I stumbled across you on yahoo.finance.

    Have a great day
    Al D

I am a pretty serious investor...but as far as I am concerned anyone who likes a few beers after the market closes is cool...How 'bout we have a BEER BASH at Ernie's house on Memorial Day weekend??? I have tons of FF miles I would like to use before they expire...How 'bout it Ernie???

              CHEERS!!

Though I have been a silent observer, this is the best message board I have seen yet. Period.

MM, your sense of humor should be enough to visit this board. The stock pick is an additional bonus!! Cheers!!!

                  HI Ernie:

I communicated with you by email some months ago, then lost your contact info. Last week I found it, and I just joined. Ilike to read your picks, and your model. Humor is fine. Your record is outstanding.

                    Position sizing tips

                    Mr. Market,

I've been following your picks for about half a year now, and I'm impressed by your success. One thing I've noticed though is that I haven't seen you discuss your position sizing strategy. What percentage of your portfolio do you put into any given stock? While you've now had 50 trades making over 15% each, I'm curious what this turns into for an overall yearly gain. I look forward to learning more about your investing strategy.

                    Thanks for sharing your picks!

                      Jim,

I usually hold between 10 to 14 stocks at a time. If I really really really like a stock, I put more money into it and also follow it up with call options (URBN was a stock I had calls on also).

On average, 7 to 10% of my money is in one stock.

Also, I am interested in what you think of the analysis I provide in my stock picks. Would you like to see more fundamental analysis, more technical analysis? Do you like my sense of humor or do you think I'm a juvenile idiot.

Maybe now is the time to do some techie stuff, as you polled a couple of weeks ago.

Here is a simple, visual example. Compare the Bollinger Bands of STC,

                          and the Bands of URBN:

Note the position of the close versus the ASCENDING 20 day moving average, and the
                          expanding versus contracting bands.
