      Omni

      HI Spike,
      Looks like OMNI is breaking or about to break that downtrend you were concerned with. I still think this stock is going to jump. It's persistant and seems to be building a head of steam the last week or so.

      • Greetings Spike,
        Regarding my EENC post,it broke out of the wedge that I saw this morning,and has follwed through so far.

        Am I reading this proper?

          @RL: You're welcome. You too.
          @noshady: OMNI: You may be spot on. Volume is making it interesting
          @Thomrich: Yep, there's a bullish wedge break fer ya! Now all ya gotta hope for is last week's channel short to fail. Until it does, the short is in play.

            Greetings,
            EENC closed at 19.95,would that be enough to break the short channel?
            It did it on 4x volume.

            cordially Tom

              Yep, that does it nicely.
              I might add that the daily chart is acting very uniquely as far as channels go.
              But as far as where it lies with resistance, it stopped just short of filling the gap, so it's right at resistance. Whether it's got the steam to turn the channel from the top up is yet to be seen, but it IS moving up and away from nice volume by price, on great daily volume.

                Spike, this failed rally today sure doesn't make me feel better (well a bit cause my stocks are green for a change)... Do you think tomorrow is the decisive day? If we get a rally tomorrow can that mean a short term bottom?

                  I dunno what tomorrow will bring. The indictators I watch are currently pointing in favor of some decisive down. Right now, I would be very nervous about holding longs that were not protected/hedged. What would a rally tomorrow do to my perspective? If it's good enough, it could potentially allow me to put the bull horns back on. But let's not put the cart before the horse. I'm bearish, and will remain so until I see the right things.

                  • Spike, might you know of a decent web site that has support/resistance levels plotted? It is getting old having to always mess with a calculator. I have looked at a few sites and they were all different. It would cut my time day greatly to just key in the ticker and get this info.

                      Spike,

                      Don't know much about hedging...is that when you short your long positions?

                          @runner - are you talking about intraday levels? I can't help you with a site, but why not just use QT to draw them for you? R2, R1, Pivot, S1, S2 done automatically.
                          @dmk112 - no, I mean employing other trading vehicles like futures contracts or stock options. It's definately worth some Google research.
                          @Thomrich - absolutely.

                            Prft

                            Hello Spike, If you could give me some guidance on PRFT it would be appreciated. Looking at the chart it seems to have a resistance leve lin the $9.50s and a support in the upper $6 range. If it hits the resistance again it will be testing it for the 3rd time. I think it would have busted through it's previous time if the company did not issue a secondary offering.

                            Any guidance you have would be much appreciated.

                            Thanks,

                            Nate

                              hi Nate
                              here you go.clearly a short bias currently.
                              Channels shorts have control currently. Double top is there - that is a big one to watch out for. seems to be looking for a weekly Channel long, doesn't it?
