Since there are 2 gaps either side of your entry price I'm not sure if you're long or short. I'm assuming you are long and are looking for 18.32 gap fill. Looks good to me.
If you're short looking for 11.55 gap fill, I don't like the chances of that happening for a while.

            dmk,
OK, great. Nice one. You'd be with about 20% profit now. Gap closed, but looking at the weekly, it's threatening to give a nice channel turn up from that high.....might pay to hold it....

It's just had a channel short. Might be as high as she goes for a while....
Spike, I think CD broke its upper channel today. It's at 0.8083 now. It might want to form a inverted SHS here.

Yaoyao, thanks very much for that.
I just redid the chart and realize I failed to see the pink channel long. I'm a knucklehead. There is a valid bullish bias for it.
Newborn. Sets up to target the red channel now....

WOW! IF it hits .83--that really changes the ballgame!!! For the good, of course. Thanks for the post!

                    • Greetings,
Spike if you wouldnt mind, could you do a chart on LEXR at your convenience.I was able to re-enter today .15 cheaper than my exit,so hopefully its still a valid long.

Chart wise its very confusing to me,could you point out some distinguising signs? The huge volume day recently stands out,is that a positive?

                      cordially Tom

Sure. Yep, valid long still. Gap on high volume is a potential for runaway gap that may not be filled for months. I think it's a great long position.

One day I may try to get up to speed on all that MSH and MSL and the whys and wherefores but I must admit that my interest is less towards learning a whole new stock trading methodology, but rather more towards dedicating my time to futures system development and trading. My interest in stocks seems to be declining every day, which is probably a good thing; I don't have to worry about holding a stock like ELN that plunges on devastating news. I've currently worked up eight very nice scalping/swing systems for ES, NQ and YM futures, and a handful of potentials that need more work. Some of these can be mechanically traded - even automated, so at some point I'd like to research automation programming to make that happen. One day I may become a true monkey at the wheel, just be sitting at my PC watching my automated mechanical systems open and close trades before my very eyes, watching the daily P&L totals chugalug along in a pleasing direction, and glancing over to read the banter thrown about this and other investment/trading sites.
                                Greetings,
Pardon my naivete, but could you elaborate on "ES,NQ,and YM" futures,
