I read something that came across the newswire this morning about TEVA. It was a positive remark.
Anyway this stock has had a pretty good week and if it can break 35 this coming week it could breakout and you could get another 2/3 points out of it. Not sure about 40 right now but 37/38 seems doable. I'm keeping an eye on it myself. I'll try to find that news article on Briefing.com and bring it up here for you to read.THE SKIRACER'S EDGE: MAKE THE EDGE IN YOUR FAVOR

Teva
TEVA has always looked pretty good to me- more for a long-term investment though. I might have picked it up if I didn't pick up MRK for 26, which seemed like a steal to me, but it turns out TEVA would have been just as good (except that MRK still pays 5% vs TEVA's 1%).
But long-term, charts don't get much prettier than this:

When I do sell MRK, TEVA will be on the top of the list of places to put the money.

Spike,
I have no doubt you could do very well on the futures. Whenever your ready to jump in full tilt let me know. Maybe I could fill you in on some of the differences between them and stocks. There are not alot of differences, but a different approach is needed in many cases.
Come to the futures and you will never go back.Last edited by Guest; 05-31-2005, 02:01 AM.

Hi all. I feel like I'm layin' on a beach chair on some island resort watching the action go on around me and occasionally speaking just to order some drinks. The vacation is great!

Was wondering what happenned to you the last couple of days. Missed your dialogue. Sometimes it's good to air out from the repetition of all the things you do on a regular daily basis. I just about bit my knuckle off containing myself after reading Cashmaker's post about your take on things on the other thread.Ahh, never mind about posters like Cashmaker. He's just trying to get some validation - and if he worked on his manners and trade accountability I'd take him more seriously. Maybe he thought I was just a thread-crapper and wrote me off. I'll refrain from posting over in his thread in future. It's his world and I'm clearly not welcome in it
But speaking of Cashmaker's trades, I'm liking NGPS today. It has done the 'work' I was looking for. Good for 16% from here I think. But chasing the channel turn up is an aggressive move at a place where it looks like the 4th corrective wave is due, so stop is tricky. Might pay to wait for 4 to finish and enter then....grab a few more % points too
@Newborn: glad to hear you're liking IB.

Come to the futures and you will never go back.and I AIN'T goin' back - at least day trading stocks that is. Swings still interest me; as they obviously do you.
I've only mentioned futures a handful of times in this thread, but I've actually actively traded them for a few years now. This thread and stocks generally are purely as a side hobby for me to look for some stock swings. I have avoided discussing futes in this thread because just about everyone here at this site is a swing stock picker and either not heard of 'em or interested. Let's face it, ya gotta follow em very closely and as you say, realize the differences in them.
I don't need to tell you they are a completely different animal to stocks. They warrant an entirely dedicated thread on them. But as you probably realize from your own site; discussion of em is only worth it if there are people around to read and contribute.
Good luck this week.

Greetings,
I too am interested in moving to futures, tired of the games played in the stock market.
I will do some reading and try an contribute.
BTW,am I correct in seeing a possible wedge forming here?
I exited previous trade for a small profit, and re-entered again after yesterdays dist. sell-off at 19.09.
June 15th or so they should announce increase in dist. if all go's well. How do you like my chances of winning on this?
cordially Tom
