OK, it didn't trade until 11.58am when the low and high was 14.78.
Yep, you can go to http://www.prophet.net/analyze/javac...sp?symbol=INTC and use their java chart for 1 day and 1min charts.

I had to head out of my office at noon to listen to two engineers argue for two hours while the two lesbien clients treated me like I just burned down the house and it wasn't even my men's fault. Is was an 1/8 of an inch crack. I was happy to see the results of QSII now that it's around 3:00am and a new little friend just left. The innocent looking are sometimes the most interesting. I'll be watchin for strength on monday. Its a shame there where no options availible.
Have you seen WBMD at all. I made some money a couple months after the IPO and sold out to early. Then it bounced a little. I wanted back in at the last drop but was not ready. Now its moving strait up again. There's options here too.
If you can take a look. It seems to me the actual company is like a yahoo or google meaning being just a data base or system that is mainly on the net. Don't know where the revenue comes from . I would espect some type of advertising or subscription fee. I'm waiting on more info from the company.

Runner, I don't see it having hit the upper trendline as of yet.

Hey runner good stuff. I had moved my stop up and secured some profit after the jump. I'll keep it close. If I get shaken out I have positions waiting to add to.
Steckler I think runners chart is missing fridays action. Also I think you both started upper trend lines at different times in the chart. It closed at 40.00 still with more than double the average trade volume.
Without knowing what is pushing this price up so much how long can this jump continue? The small press release regaurding the aquisition is probobly a catalyst, but if it is, how long does that push last? The EPS #'s are good but not crazy. With a five year growthrate of 68% I can see that strenght. I'll be stalking it closely as patient as possible for my exit.
I'd like to here more from both of you on this.

Just can't agree with you on that one point trendline. They really should touch two points don't you agree? I use the trendline approach but think the RAF Regression Channels give off better signals. I would think Runner's lines are closer to what the trendlines should look like. I posted a chart Thursday and said that I thought it was probably ready for a correction and was giving a channel short signal on the weekly at that time. Here is the weekly chart after yesterday's close an is still giving a channel short signal after the up day yesterday. That channel short signal kept me away as I thought it would consolidate first before it went further up because of that signal. But they have a mind of their own an it ignored the channel short signal and continued up. I still think it is ready for a pullback although yesterdays action was on twice normal average volume so it was another accumulation day for the stock even though it is a low volume stock normally. Regardless of the fundamental factors the charts don't lie an I would go with what the chart says. I wouldn't be looking to go long at this time. Also it's not a perfect textbook 5 wave count but I think it is close to the "a" down move right about now as Runner has the wave count. But you are right in that it hasn't hit the upper trendline yet either.

Here's the daily:
The weekly however shows it's likely in a 5th completion, so look for the weekly abc correction in the weeks ahead. That will be the time to stalk this one for a decent swing.

Just quickly on channels, trendlines, etc, they are simply areas of resistance. It comes back to the basics; resistance is resistance until it isn't. Booming channel action is the whisper that buyers just don't see the resistance, and once broken, it becomes support. How long this type of action can happen really cannot be defined. The market will do what it will do. I do know this: smart money sells resistance and buys support. So no matter what this issue does, you want to aim to be selling at a resistance point, rather than after a drop to a support level. Sell into strength at resistance that you see as strong, and walk away happy. Don't focus too much on picking tops or bottoms, although that's nice when it happens. Focus on planning well, planning smart, using the BASSAR (buy at support sell at resistance) mentality and execute well, and don't let emotion of greed cloud your senses. Patterns and channels can help you do that. And once you're out, if you love the stock and the chart, patiently stalk your next entry, and buy into weakness.
