NBB - stop being a bear! Really! Looking at my watchlist most of the stocks pulled back until around 11:30 and then broke out to highs and finished near them. Couldn't ask for better A/D on the NAS and NYSE and we had 569 new hi's and 40 new lo's - that's bearish to you?? I must say the DOW is still lagging but the NAS is on fire!!!

Why not take half off and place that trailing stop up close to protect those gains because the weekly is showing a channel short signal. Nice gains to date so protect them at least if you don't take some off the table.

Adam, hope you caught the move today!

Wow, I'm shocked. Really. Look at your weeklies. Patterns support the move, they have for a while now. Now breakouts, money flow to support. High tick readings, low trin. $INDU P&F double top breakout yesterday with a fresh bull target of 11500. All the others with bullish P&F bias. The likes of GOOG and AAPL and so many other very strong bullish charts out there. Lots of 'c' longs to support moves, Lye almost winning the POTW (lol just kidding). No reason to be bearish, every reason to be long (hopefully with profits by now) and holding "green hope" for more. Maybe you're cautiously expecting any advance to get sold into like it has many times last year? This year is different than last year imho. I'd be looking for some more out of this before you get that bear suit out. Good luck in 2006!!

But I appreciated everyones feedback last night. It never hurts to have "too much" information!

So, I am thinking that this sucker has runup quite a bit (from 12.40 to 15.30 in four trading days). But, to me, it looks like it has more legroom to runup.

Anyone agree with my $16.50 near-term price target? Volume and everything looks just almost perfect with this one!
Cup with handle paying off. Nice. That channel long I drew failed then volume came in and boom!

Yep was watching it closely today. That first spike up to 470 caused a real pop in the options. And that was during an impulse subwave 3 within of a bigger 3 on a 20-day chart. Some late profit-taking was impulsive down, so that's a likely 4 down, so I'm looking for the 5th of 3 up, the abc correction (larger 4 down), and then another 5th up where I'll consider jumping off. Hopefully during madness and panic when they get bid up nicely

lol yup. It can really move fast and hurt you if you're not disciplined. Stops save lives with ER2. If you're in a position without stops in place and it breaks out of a range against you with force it can get ugly pretty quickly.

Yup, LKQX is booming Adam. That's expanding the regression channel to the upside and is very bullish action. Hold on for the ride but be expecting the stall and correctives.

Yes and I didn't enjoy myself much. If one would describe stocks are hard, and options hardest, and futures a different planet, then forex is an entirely different galaxy. Study long and hard before you even consider trading forex. And prepare yourself for very fast and volatile moves on news events and unexpected interventions.
