I think the companies spread those rumors themselves to drum up interest in the stock. They might not be the wave of the future.

Federal regulations are preventing this from happening. It would be huge though, if a new Satellite radio company came out with a service that would be free, rather than having a paid subscription. Revenue could be provided through advertising, just like terrestrial radio does. If I were in their shoes, I would approach it with this angle.

Just think how huge satellite radio would be if it was free. I could live with ads.

I agree that it may not be a big as they are hoping for, but I do see one more little run up before Christmas. Then it'll all be over for SIRI.

I tried Sirius for a while, but I got bored with it and sold my receivers on Ebay...for a profit of course. lol

My Vulcan instincts are telling me that SIRI is as close to a bottom as it will get. The inner circle is looking at the strong possibility of a fall run with a strong showing for the Christmas season.

Yes, $3 is a possibility, if support is broken at the 200 day MA. A little bit of bad news would be welcome at this point to help bring the price down for an entry. Maybe we should go to the Yahoo board and start spreading rumors and lies about how Sirius is filing for Capter 11...oh yea, that's illegal. Never mind.

It is a fact that the trend is not turning up just yet, so we do have time to watch the charts. What we have here is an excellent profit opportunity for someone who acheives the perfect entry. Christmas will be good to the VTP his year.

It's still possible that SIRI will trade in this narrow range before taking off. The season is quickly approaching. Profits will be mine sayeth the Supreme Vulcan....

SIRI hit the VTP radar again today....

I am making my prediction that SIRI is at or near the bottom.

Here's a few reasons I think the time is right to buy SIRI:

1. Although it's doubtful that a SIRI-XM merger will take place, it appears that this scenario could already be priced in.

2. Subscriptions are still climbing.

3. The car companies are stepping up installations.

4. There will be a VTP inner Circle channel soon....maybe....but only if Mel pays the required fees to the VTP Supreme leader.

5. Howard is still able to use the F word freely.

What do you think about ONT... I bough into this at the dollar mark. I like what it does and do think it will be the future. I am thinking it will hit the 4 dollar mark in the next few months. Interested in your take of ONT.

Here's a couple of friendly suggestions:
1. Never buy a stock because someone can use the F word freely. Doesn't ad value to the company.

2. Point and Figure chart says the price target for SIRI is $1. Nothing in the weekly chart (that I can see) says that SIRI has bottomed out.

3. There are a lot of other charts and stocks that present a much more bullish situation. Perhaps taking one of them long will produce profits more quickly than SIRI.

ONT: I think it has topped out for now. Weekly chart suggests that a head and shoulders top may (re:"May") form, and ONT will return to $1.50 pricing in the next month or two. In short, too late to enter; too early to short just now. But looks to me like the top is in for now.
