Cool! My absense from the circle has been draining my account. If I had the VTP to consult prior to my KLIC trade, I am sure I wouldn't have lost any money!

UUU should be looked at again by the VTP. Interesting news has just been announced...

        Webs,
SPIL paid a 10% div. in stock around Sept.5th. It doesn't show up in any news about the company ,but the extra shares appeared magically in my son's account. On a message board, one shareholder said this future payout had kept the stock down and it has risen since the payout. Maybe it won't go back to 5.70. Since around April, I've had a hard time making a buck in under $10 stocks.

I'm still holiding ELN, which is my only position.

I'm buying into 2 mutual funds tomorrow... USEMX and PRCGX The returns for these two funds has been excellent, plus USEMX is ran by USAA. I've had insurance with USAA for close to 20 years.

Of course, I have left plenty of cash for trading and I like what I'm seeing, especially if the DOW breaks resistance. The VTP is ready to kick some Vulcan ***! jejejejessssssssssssssssss.......ooooohhhhhhhhhh.. .yeeeaaaaa

            Webs,
I must apologize even though the concept is alien to vulcans. Was just checking out IBD forums and saw a recent post by websman and thought to myself " he's a secret IBD'er". Then I noticed the post was from '04 and there were almost no other posts until today , Ha Ha !! People were bitching about canslim and IBD. You told them to forget IBD and become one with the market. A new group is complaining loudly now. There's fewer than 2 pages of posts today. A bad sign. I'm not a subscriber, don't ask how I get on.

                    DALRQ.PK (Delta Airlines)

This one has doubled in the past month. Very interesting action. If Delta comes back, this one could prove to be a huge profit opportunity.

I shop WinnDixie all the time. This dog has dropped from a high of $50 to the present level of .07. If things go right, Winn Dixie should emerge from bankrupcty this fall. I will take a small gamble and attempt to purchase 5000 shares tomorrow. The most I can lose is my investment of around $375. Sounds like gambling to me, but it'll be fun if Winn Dixie makes a comeback!...jejejejesssssssss

Just hope they don't pull a K-Mart where they wiped out all the old shareholders during re-org...BK is a game I don't really know that much about...but I do know that shareholders are last on the list...IIC

Ok, so who out there knows something about this bankrupcty stuff that Doug is talking about? Will my shares be wiped out if Winn Dixie comes out of bankruptcy? Or will I retain my shares and enjoy the profits?

So, I guess this is a question of whether the present shares will be closed out and new shares will be re-issued. That would really suck to watch a profit get taken away.

If what you say is true Doug, I would be better off selling for a profit while Winn Dixie is still in Chpt. 11.
