Insider selling is definitely a problem. If this is the case, I would only consider UUU for a quick swing trade and would be ready to pull the trigger on any weakness.

A new home got to expensive, so I bought a BMW instead...for my wife. I still drive my old 98 Dakota. It looks a little rough but it'll still haul a load.

I think that insider selling is a problem if you see the CEO, CFO, COO selling large amounts of their shares, and quarterly reports coming in weaker or the same as previous Q's- not the case with UUU. Here's a summation of the insider activity for 2006:

Kovens is a benefitial owner and has been selling since Sept 04 and hasn't affected the price, and continues to hold 138,000+ shares. Total shares sold in 2006- 167,000

Grossblatt, the CEO, has sold 21,300 shares and acquired, through option exercises, 57,666 shares. Net shares (sold) / acquired: 36,366 shares

Seff, a director, acquired 7000 shares through option exercises and sold 5000 shares. Net shares (sold) / acquired: 2,000 shares

Luskin, a director, has purchased shares this year with her own money at $22.00 / share. Luskin continues to hold.

I think that the above is "normal" insider activity. None of the activity has had a material effect on the share price, and keep in mind that there are only 1.5 million shares on the float.

I would say that the insider selling by Kovens has done nothing "bad" for the stock. In fact, it seems to have added liquidity, if anything. Notice how the avg daily volume steadily increases since late 2004 and really picks up in 2006.

It looks like they are on path to increase annual earnings at a healthy pace, nearly doubling their YOY quarter EPS during their weakest Q in this last period.

I love the home security business as well- people want to feel safe and do it cheaply

The VTP inner circle should eliminate FIX, NXG, AMKR, JLG, OMNI, MFLX, ALDA, STXN, NTWK, and ABHH. The rest should stay. Additions could be UUU, MVCO, PDGE, ACSEF, KMGB, and TGIS.

Good thought my respected former member... It's nice to see that you haven't gotten upset about your VTP termination like others have done. I've received numerous death threaths from other exhalted members.

The market still looks shaky... Only DT's until further notice. I'll be looking to get back in the market in October.

I'm going to place limit orders for the following stocks tomorrow. I am setting my prices a little low, so it's doubtful that either of them will fill, but it's still worth a shot.

                          ELN @ 15.23 EZEN @ 2.16

I considered SIRI, but am a little concerned about their high debt. They paid Howard, NASCAR and the NFL way too much.

If Bernake chills next week, I'll probably dive back in the market head first.

"h***" - hmm, could this be:

                              hand
                              hips
                              heck
                              hole
                              HANS

just filling in the blanks. Use your imagination.

Why did you step on a nail, dude?

Just my luck...EZEN had bad news today...and I had my limit order fill at $2.16. It closed at $1.61. That's an instant 25% loss. Most of the damage should have already been done. We'll see what it looks like tomorrow. I may be forced to dump it, but I think we should see a little recovery. The good news...I only took a small position. (1000) shares.

ELN filled at 15.23. Could have been a better entry, but at least it closed above my buy price.
