I see DHB popping up on good news tomorrow. But that is as far as I can see. By that I mean, buy today, sell tomorrow.I have learned the hard way to never buy a stock right before earnings, regardless of how good I might think the earnings might be. I agree that DHB should blow it out, but I'm not willing to take that gamble.
Now...Let's see what DHB does. This should be interesting.

What has always baffled me about DHB is that they have a backlog of 1/2 billion in orders and today they beat estimated guidance by just .01. What's going on there. I was sitting watching for a big bust out on a much better earnings report and they give us a small token.THE SKIRACER'S EDGE: MAKE THE EDGE IN YOUR FAVOR

Webs, why do you think that?? They beat, I'm sure that some relief, plus this stock is a bargain at this level, I think it will pop tomorrow.

I have to agree with Webs about staying away from DHB. They have such a large backlog of orders and business has been great but still no cigar. I feel that the insider selloff has had to do some damage psychologically with traders but still that should be water over the dam by now.
In todays markets the need for instant gratification with big reports over guidance is the norm. When they only meet or barely exceed expectations or guidance it's no play on the part of the big money. I see no reason for them to want to own the stock for that reason alone. I was totally surprised that the report was as low as it was barely over the estimates.THE SKIRACER'S EDGE: MAKE THE EDGE IN YOUR FAVOR

GM and DHB
Webs, Spike, et al,
GM down .80 on 5 million shares in first 25 minutes. I look for $22 bottom in six week--maybe even cheaper in less time--on this thing. Awful!
DHB--it has just joined my dirt list. I have sworn off of stocks that are not market leaders, unless of course, I plan to short them. Done!

DHB hasn't made a serious attempt to quell investor dissatisfaction since the insider sales. They were apparently bombarded with so many calls that they had to outsource the investor relations. Yeah, really helps when one can no longer talk directly to the company.
Anyway, investors are punishing the stock accordingly.

The afterhours action was the big clue to todays selloff. It started to drop immediately after the earnings announcement. It was already in trouble because of the uncaring managment.
It's a shame because DHB does provide a very important product for our troops. Brooks and his team will have to be replaced if DHB wants to succeed.
