I've been looking at IPO's a lot lately and have found that a lot of them have made some pretty good gains. Of course a lot of them have also took some big drops, so I would never put too much capital into any IPO.
Rather than start another thread, I'll keep this whole deal right here on Websworld.
Here's the new IPO's so far this week with the opening prices...
1. ARP - $13.00
2. FRP - $18.50
3. HRAY - $10.25
4. THLD - $7.00
5. DRYS $18.00
There will be two more IPO's tomorrow and three more on Wed.
Here's a good site that list's the new IPO's and tracks their performance:
Do you see any you like?

JOE is looking strong. I think this one has more upside to it. The St Joe Company has thousands of acres of land in the Florida Panhandle, which they are just beginning to develop. The real estate market in the panhandle is red hot. Watercolor is St Joes biggest project at this time and it's been very successful. I think The St Joe company will do quite well for the next couple of years.

I got the call last night...The voice on the other end sounded concerned...almost frightened, in a way.
"Webs" he said.
"Yes???" I responded.
In a somber tone, he stated, "I am really worried. I am afraid that our friendship may be coming to an end."
"Friendship???" I questioned. "Who...who is this? I don't have any friends. What do you want with me?"
In a slow careful manner, he then explained..."This is Jim...Jim from Investors Business Daily. My dear Vulcan friend, Your subscription is about to end and I don't want to see your financial future ruined because you failed to renew. You and I both know that you can't make it without IBD."
"HA!!!" I shouted, "I've done quite well without you! I bought SIRI! I bought DHB! I bought WITS! I bought GES! I made a killing! Did you recommend any of these stocks? YOU? YOU? YOU?!!!"
Then in a slow and nervous manner, Jim replied, "uh....no, we did not, but we did outperform the market with our IBD 100 list."
"Jim...Jim...Jim....You are blind my home dog. I use the IBD 100 as a shorting list." I responded. "I now go to a free sight called Mr Market is Huge. This guy has picked 67 winners in a row, he has 19" biceps, gorgeous women surround him, he can crush a six pack of beer cans against his forehead!"
....long silence............................
"Webs....I...I...can't do anything like that...I'm not worthy. I will go away now...."
"No Jim. Don't do that." I said, "I'll tell you what. I'll keep my IBD subscription, if you'll just give me twenty bucks off. I can't just kick you to the curb. I'm not that kind of guy. Give me $20 off. Sign me up!"
I could hear Jim sobbing like a baby....It was sooooo sad. "You got it Webs...sniff...sniff...consider it done. Thankyou Webs!!! Thankyou for being so kind!"
"No problem Jim. I always like to help the less fortunate. Just name your next child after me and we'll call it even."
click...I hung up the phone, knowing that I had helped a poor soul in need. Yes, Jim will forever thank me...
I remain....an IBD subscriber

I think it will hit bounce off the 200 day MA. Of course I could be wrong...
