Well guys and gals...The trading year is officially over and what a good year it has been to me!
I'm already working on my new watch list and have quite a few canidates. Actually, my list is long and varied, but there's a winner in there somewhere.

I've added KONG and JRJC to my list. I think China has a lot of room for growth. If you have spent any time in China in the last few years you will understand when I say that China is slowly but surely becoming a capitalistic society. The Chinese economy will continue to grow.

Buliding materials will be need in Asia next year, so I'll be watching companies that export those items. LPX is already on my watchlist.

The new year is almost here and I'm ready to start trading again.

Here is the Websman watchlist. I have plenty of cash and am ready to make some more money. Do you see any that you like?

KKD, NVT, LOJN, JOE, LPX, VDSI, JRJC, KONG, XXIA, MFLX, DPZ, NUTR, GES, DHB, CLZR, AAI, DIET, NFLX, EP, NGEN, CMGI, BBW, DWA, LU, CLRK, IPXL, COGT, SGI, SYK, CME, OZRK, WIN, ELN

As always, I'll be looking for canidates to add to my list.

P.S. I will edit this post as my watchlist changes.

IIC/Webs: what are your investment goals for 2005? My goal is to double the size of my portfolio. I think/hope that that is a reasonable goal, provided I work hard enough. I plan to work harder at investing and studying, and would ask IIC what if he would like to direct my study. What should I read? What sites might you recommend? Anything you want to dump on my plate, I am ready to look into doing.

Webs, you are invited to my place next time you make it up our way [ ]

God bless you both, and have a great 2005!
A book I always recommend is "How Charts Can Help You In The Stock Market" by William L. Jiler. It is an easy read but I really like it as a technical primer. I have the original 1962 edition...but later editions are available.

As far as sites...I list some good sites in my Site Watch Section at Mr B. Soon I will start archiving them on separate pages for easy reference.

My goal for 2005...The usual 200%...I have never reached it but what the heck...maybe one day???

I think the key though is to never let mistakes get under your skin...learn from them and try not to repeat them...but never worry about them.

Another suggestion...make changes slowly...don't try to copy what others do unless you fully understand what they are doing. I only know one person, and I know a lot of great traders, many better than I, who I would buy on what they say w/o first looking at a chart. That's because she is the only one that I know who I REALLY know how she thinks.

Best To You and All in '05...IIC

Hey webs you have a pretty good list. What kind of trading strategy are you using as far as time frame? Or do you try to capture the trend until it is broken and trail it with stops?

I've found that hanging with the trend until it's broken is working better for me.
I still have a lot to learn, but I'm getting better at this trading thing. I'm fully expecting a 100% or better gain for 2005. If we all keep working together like we've been doing, we may all see our money double this year!
If I could double my porfolio for the next 13 years, I'll retire in style...

VDSI is very tempting, but I know better than to chase it.

After the action today, I'm glad I'm in cash. I have lots of $$$ that I would love to spend, but I think I'll sit back and be patient. I feel like a kid in a candy store...but my mama won't let me buy any candy...BWAAHAHAAA!!

I still like KKD, but I need it to drop back a little.

WIN seems to be starting to trend up...looks like my fellow rednecks are shopping there again.

DPZ could be a buy this week, depending on tomorrows action.

Jim Cramer still loves LU...I still haven't figured this one out. What's so great about Lucent? Could Cramer be onto something? I've been tempted to buy it, but Cramer seems more like a used car salesman than a stock picker to me. He's fun to watch, but I don't trust him.
I've got some more remodeling work to do...gotta go.

                    Webs...

HOFF is going wild. I wonder how far this one will go? I'll put it on my watchlist.

PRFT is also going on my list.

Wow, that was quite an attack towards me on the IBD board. They sure do get upset easy.

                              Anyways...here's what was posted.

Not for anything but almost every ****ing stock across the board was down today including your buddy Mr. Market's latest hot pick CMN. So you must be happy that you're not holding any stocks because almost everything took a hit today. Since you're a big follower of his you must have been holding that one. Down .97 for the day. Or do you only follow his picks when they are up? That's one of the stupidest remarks I've heard come out of anyone's mouth since I've been part of this forum.

But then again, I never had any problem winning any arguments w/ any of the posters there...But you'll know when you are in the Big Time when you duke it out with the IBD legal staff...Unfortunately, I cant give you the details per my agreement...IIC
