Yep, quite distinct aren't they. It's a good rule to check the weekly with every stock you look at. Weekly has stronger iterpretive value than a daily I think anyway.

And on daily money flow, it's flattening along the zero line, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Bad money flow is like those ugly red charts like PACT.

ahhhhhh, it's all good Ski. My humble opinion on your question is that discussing his intentions with the position might be helpful to webs, NB, RL and me, or the lurkin' newbies. It's relevant to psychology and decision-making, and yep, they are his decisions to make and we shouldn't attempt to lead or coerce. I think we're all mature enough to know that, and that any opinion or caution offered is done with good intentions, without negativity, and hopefully some technical or fundamental basis behind it. I say let's GET specific about positions....let's BE accountable, let's KNOW the decisions we make have everything with the plan we set or modify due to the circumstances at hand.

Update on my present positions... 9/30/05

            1. ELN - Bought at $6.88. Closing price today was $8.86

            2. PDC - Bought at $14.25. Closing price today was $19.52

            3. AOB - Bought at $3.53. Closing price today was $4.55

The Vulcan Gods must be smiling down upon me.

I almost feel guilty for taking the market's money. Every time I buy a stock, the dang thing goes up. What gives? Why am I making money, while the poor IBD robots are losing their life savings? It's irrational.

I could probably be as huge as Mr Market, but I don't have 19" biceps. I am better looking though. I'm sure those of you who caught my picture, while I had it posted, could attest that fact. I would have left my handsome face for all to see, but I didn't want to upstage the huge one. What does this have to do with trading???

I almost bought ERS today, but I feel as though it may drop a little more. Monday should confirm my suspicions.

I may also consider HOM if it were to drop back a little more.

CNXS is starting to tighten it's trading range. I look for a big move, one way or the other, next week.

Let's see...anthing else I need to mention? Nope, that's it.

            It's time for the weekend.

Yes, Proverbs 23:29-35 warn against that demon drink. But Webs is profiteering off of the good advice of Poorman, who tries to invest according to Biblical principles. I think his investing is doing quite well, too. But watch that bottle. It wrecks a lot of good people.

I agree , New-born , Webs success can be attributed to clean living and the sound advice of Mr. Markets' forum collective knowledge. Maybe some help from above also.

Billyjoe, I also attribute my success to a few good shots of 151. It kills the bacteria in your system.

Update on my present positions... 10/03/05

                            1. ELN - Bought at $6.88. Closing price today was $8.42

                            2. PDC - Bought at $14.25. Closing price today was $19.85

                            3. AOB - Bought at $3.53. Closing price today was $4.80

ELN is giving another buying opportunity.

Who said that I should sell PDC? Huh? Huh?

                            AOB is still recovering nicely.

I doubt I'll make any buys this week, as I will be headed out of town Wednesday night for a few days in Gatlinburg.

                              Congrats Webs!

How do you go about selecting which poorman's pics to play?

(ELN is making me sick... . i was in it, out of it, shorting it, covered it, rebought it and now it's doing poorly)

I will be out of country soon for a week, back 8 days, then out again for another week. I'm tempted to short against the block just to maintain until I get back.

Karel, we need another face icon. one that looks like the Mr. Yuck we use to put on poisonous bottles to warn the kids not to drink. You know, Green, looking like he's gonna vomit!
