Good grief! That attempted light-hearted post sure backfired! Hmmm.

Gary's retired, Ski's thrown his hands up and let fly with his opinion, Lye's come out with gloves on, NB's had some fun (good for you), Webs has done the gentlemanly thing, Billyjoe has ignored it completely (hehe), and then Ski has attempted to have some lighthearted fun after all. Last post I see is Lye bein' grumpy again. Shoot guys, we gotta keep the scorekeeper happy! That's rule No.1!

Seriously though dudes, In my mind, Lye's initial stance was clear; Webs was out. My clemency request was:
a) said in fun and
b) made thinking Webs had about a snowflake's chance in Hades of slipping in the back door. I expected some fun and games and then direction from majority that rules stand.

Shoot, Lord forbid we actually have some fun in this competition.

Perhaps I'm the knucklehead for dare considering bending the rules. Maybe I need the -10% Ski and Gary. Maybe all 3 of us need an uppercut. Oh, and Lye too, for losin' his cooooool.

Did I call you a derogatory name directly or insinuate anything about your personality. I love these situations where the uncontained emotions run over. They provide a much better look at the personality within than I could ever do. Very similiar to the instance with Karel where you had to end up apoligizing to everyone for running off the way you did. I'll wear your name calling without any problems of reducing myself to that level. Great show Lye I hope you got it all off your chest. And Lye don't ever make the mistake of thinking I'm your buddy. Why go through all that bullshit of making up rules if you're even going to consider insulting the rest of us an our intelligence by even thinking about letting some get by an shutting others out. You surprise me. You know that it should be cut and dry otherwise don't bother going through the trouble of making up all those bullshit rules.

Found this buried deep within the POTW rulebook :


---------7. ........."and these being , therefore, the rules of the POTW , with, but these few exceptions :

a........blah,blah,blah.....etc.

b........blah,blah,blah.....etc.

c. ..and only at Christmas time with the spirit of the season in all POTW players is the privilege of "switching" allowed. This is the only time a contestant in the POTW contest can exit during the competition. The "switcher" (billyjoe) must declare that he/she suspects fraudulant accounting figures to be effecting their stock's performance. Since further investigation by governmental agencies will be needed, said switcher has the option of trading places with the "switchee" should one be available:

------------ 1. the switchee must be a contestant denied entry do to lateness of posting.

-------------2. the switcher will assume the 5% penalty of the switchee

-------------3. can only be accomplished before noon est. on the second day of the week.

It took me all night to find that rule, it goes way back and has never been used before. What say you, Lye ?
