Good morning Ski ....well I did not take my own advice ( Which is to wait for a pullback) Got in a few hundred shares HOM at 6.15 .........so I have a loss.....but I still think the stock has legs. According to Vector Vest the fair value of the stock should be 10.38.

You must have bought before the private placement offering hit the newswires. It looked real good before that came out and $6.15 was a decent price because it went to $6.99 or so didn't it before the news came out.
I bought it after the news at $6 because I thought it was still a strong stock.
Bought again at $5.65 so I averaged in at $5.84. Shame we both didn't wait a little longer. I still like the stock, even after the private placement offering, and think that that offering wasn't that cheap or will dilute the share value at all over the long run. Patience will pay off with this stock. This years earnings are going to be up 160 % and they just raised 2006 guidance. BTW IBD, which I don't follow or hold any value with, has it #1 on their stocks under $10 list. Looking for an up week this week. Good luck with it. I'm holding steady.

Long NGAS. Just wait until this midwest cold hits the east coast, the extended forcast looks rough too. I am thinking it will drive up natural gas/heating oil prices even more.

I don't feel as confident about this one as I have some of my other picks.

Thanks Lye. It looks worse than it is. I'm only down -1.82%...and it's still a better play than my original thought of HR long.........I think anyway

The Everest Re Group chart speaks for itself. Yep, my entry sucks bilge water today, but it's still a good short at this stage. Should meet pretty heavy resistance around these levels. I think by Friday it'll be looking better. And if it don't, then I'll take my medicine and pick another.


And if you haven't traded it yet in your 'real' POTW trading port, these levels are delicious for bears. Bargain short I think. Good r/r from here. Sell it!
