I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Thanks to all, It sure Is fun to play this. Don't cost any money and you can work on your stock picking skills or Is It luck? Came close to winning three weeks ago with today would have made It three In a row so I'm going to sit back tomorrow watch the BILLS and try to throw another winner. I think three In a row would be a record for this game.
Raaaaay!!!! LOOOOONG!!!!.... dude! YOU ARE HUGE!!!! great win.... Hope you can make it three in a row! Your points are gonna look very good after this! Hmmmmm.... Being "snowed in" seems to be a good thing for your stock picking skills man!
Fellas.... I'll post the updated points race sometime this weekend over on my thread.
Well I guess I'll go first this week with one that I bought last week. I entered NTAP long last week at $29.70 so I'm going with it this week in the POTW. Here are a couple of charts on it and what I think will go down this week.
I thought it was going to go off on Friday when it went to $30.10 but it didn't hold and some were still looking to sell off into the strength but it did hold above the open price and closed above the open price. In the AH there were a couple of big blocks trades with one at 243,000 shares at 29.86. I'm coming after you this week Ray.
Wow! This Is going to be a tough week too much presure.I'll have to have a few extra cold ones and sharpen my dart.Isure have a lot of good stock pickers after my ars [as Lye calls It] Remember your only as good as last week In this game.LOL
SKI, I like that action but this thing is right on the resistance (other side of the cup) and it will likely pullback some. Have you had good luck buying cwh's before they breakout?
I'll take CMCO long. It is in the Mechanical Fund (up) and in my own portfolio (down). What happened to SNDK made me think: the stocks I pick should perform well for more weeks than one. At least, that is the idea. Chasing a new stock every week is not my game. So, Lye, I will be holding CMCO for the POTW until further notice, if that is acceptable to you. Of course it will be 'bought' every week new at the open to determine its score for the POTW.

Karel
