    Gary,
You've had a few great selections in the POTW over the past few months. Have you owned any of them during the contest? When they appreciate like this one today doesn't it make you sick if you don't own them? I've said this a number of times but I just don't understand the rationale behind the selections if you don't own them. If one were to think that highly of a stock to place it in the contest why wouldn't you own it. If not this one which ones do you own an are they doing as well?

Twenty Seven (27) players this week!!!! A POTW RECORD.... wow Wow WOW!!!!.... My goal when I expanded this thing was to see 25 players.... This is HUUUUGE!!!! It's like Mike Savage says "Be here.... or be NOWHERE"lol

I think Rob's hightech and entertaining scorekeeping has added us a solid 5-7 players within the past three weeks! Rock on Rockin'Rob!

My game plan is usually buy & hold when finding a stock to put my hard earned money in, I gotta look back at what I've been playing here to let you know, but a recent one is RWC. I am in from about 6 bucks & today is earnings I think.
Good luck to you & everyone here, youse are fine people, I reckon, NYUK, NYUK!!

          Scoring

Which values? If you're wondering why BDOG going from the open at 10.00 to the close at 10.14 registered only a 1.36% gain instead of 1.4%, which it looks like it ought to, the reason is simple: the cell holding the closing price displays only the rounded result two digits to the right of the decimal. The actual value of the last trade was 10.136.

            • Well, I do not have time to sit around on the forums today, but it was a problem with my database. So no worries.

                  Today's Action

Yesterday it was Curly and Atlas. Today it's Dakat and Virginia-based Insmed, Inc. (INSM) that is da kat's pajamas. A hefty 10.76% gain since Monday's open has propelled this little hottie to da top o' da heap!

But there Curly sits in second place just lickin' his chops and waitin' to pull the Curly Shuffle again, cos he knows how volatile them two-dollah stocks can be, and even though he and ol Atlas got a ton o' weight on their shoulders, don't you worry none. Them boys was born tote them heavy loads.

And I'll be horn-swaggled if it ain't another newbie rounding out the top 3 (and 4) this week! TFred ain't playin' no t-ball with VC! He stepped right up to the plate and smacked a slider right into the left field bleachers with Visteon Corp. Who are these Visteon guys anyway? I've heard their name but I don't know what they do! I started to read the profile: "Visteon Corporation supplies automotive systems, modules, and components to global vehicle manufacturers and the automotive aftermarket in the United States. . . ." Right about then my eyes glazed over and the rest of the description just looked like blah ... blah ... blah. But there ain't nothin' blah about a 6.24% gain in two days, I'll tell ya that!

Nice goin' all you boyzzzz. And you too Bean Stock Jack with your NVAX. The rest of us are still going to try to cream you before the week is out, but you've just made our task a bit tougher. Congrats.

And check out Skiracer: At the end of Monday's trading FLOW was down 3.18% but the flow reversed and now it's up 1.4%!! Skiracer heaves a sigh of relief as he straps on those Solomon bindings for the next run. Now I got this tune stuck in my head. It goes like this (sung to the tune of the Speed Racer theme):
                  FLOW Skiracer
                  FLOW Skiracer
                  FLOW Skiracer FLOOOoooow.

I won't mess with the rest of the words. It might be fun, but I don't have the time.

As much as I enjoy Lye and his bubbling personality I have to admit that you ROB, are the king of posting conversationalism and quips. You've have made this game the most fun ever. Thanks for taking it over and all the time an effort you put into it. It's just great. Who is that guy Lyehopper anyway.
I had FLOW in my sights for triggering an exit this afternoon when it hit that intraday high of $13.61, but procrastinated a bit and never hit the trigger. The next thing I know is it's $13.20 and going down. Probably alot of momo and daytraders in there today. It made a great move from around $13.10 to $13.60 in no time but just didn't have the strength to hold it. Anyway it's always nice to be in the green and on the plus side regardless of how much. Plus just being above those VTP guys, you know who they are, makes me all tingly inside. Hope it can hold it tomorrow.

                        I vote for LYE-ROB

Yeah, we love the old LYE-BABY around here. Teased him quite a bit, and he always took it well. But we sure do like ROB running the POTW, too. Nice job, both of you. My thanks Keep up the excellent work!

                        • Greetings Rob,

VC is the Ford version of GMs Delphi. Both of which are in the same group as DCN,automotive suppliers.

Huge debt, falling revenue, loss of market share to Asian co's,and union troubles.A nice recipe for a short.

                          cordially Tom

Nice trade Doug. I'm still holding from $12.43 and think there is still alot of gas left in the tank. Big volume days Friday, Monday, and today an all accumulation days. Guys like you ruined it for me today. Just kidding. Good show and glad you got it today. I think you'll see some of the same tomorrow.
