    trading.... ALLI (Long)

    Buy ALLI please Rob....

BTW, I too think that your efforts here are HUUUUGE!!!! MAYBE the recent players who picked a stock that had already been played just haven't taken time to read the thread.... nor do they even realize you were posting the "current positions" link and charts.... Kinda like how they soon forget to use the little green arrow........ Just the way it is I guess.

Hey! tell ya what!.... I'll buy you the "Man's Meal" at "The Coach and Four" if you'll bring the current positions link back.... paaaaaLLLLLeeeezzzzeeee?
    BEEF!... it's whats for dinner!

Thanks, Gatorman. I know that what I said may come across as sounding a little "whiney," but really I'm not whining. It's just that I believe my time expenditure on this is greater than it should be. I think the "fun" fator kept it going for a stretch, but for some reason it seems to be losing some of that. I didn't want to throw in the towel altogether, so in lieu of that I decided to scale it back a little. We'll see which way the mop flops from here.

You mean you're actually going to COUNT that 8½% gap down this morning in your weekly score?

Oh man, you're tempting me. But then I'd be on the hook indefinitely. Hooks hurt.

To make things more fun for you, may I suggest that the scorekeeper gets an additional 5% each week

Ray, if you could ... I'd have to think about it.

That wouldn't be any fun. I'd just be mentally subtracting the 5%, and so would everyone else. That's the same reason setting my clocks five minutes fast never works. If I know the clock is five minutes fast, I will always deduct five minutes every time I look at it.

Lets say you get the average return of Top 5 minus Bottom 5.

Alice, I appreciate the thought, but I prefer to live or die in the contest on the merits of my own stock picks.

What do you want, Rob? What will make this more fun for you? I ask this because I think you do a great job with the POTW. The tracking of each player's picks, the comments, the graphics, the weekly tracking, the hand of the law you exhibit, the current positions... it's not only great information, but you present it in a way that is pleasing to the eyes and mind.

As scorekeeper, you deserve something... but what? All that I can offer over the internet is my thanks and praise, but if you'd like something tangible, please let me know.

It's just that... you're so cool because you do this... I read this thread several times a day just to see what going on here. This thread is like the office break room of the whole forum, and you're the boss, albeit, a cool boss

I can certainly appreciate the time and effort that you expend. We will be happy with whatever you end up as a format.
Guess you just spoiled us too much.
Thanks again for all that you do.

                              Week 32 (6), Day 1

It's the Ice Man, the Flamin' Brain, and Mark Twain's long-lost clone, Biff Clemens, taking the top three positions to get things rolling this week.

Hey...you made up the rules...I just play by them.

Anyway...I'm the lucky guy who stormed in and picked it up at 14.25.
