  • I was referring to TSFM. Your post was:

<< Entry: here with stops below current support. >>

But the chart shows a target of 7.50. So I assumed you were suggesting an entry here?

Yes, Dave! DOH! What a dummy I am! I was anticipating, on the daily, the formation of a head and shoulders formation with the target of $7.50. You are correct. Then I looked at the weeky and I see a two year cup--imho, more likely forming a double top. I don't buy the Twilight Zone stocks, and I am bearish on it. I should have been much more clear.

      So, in summary: TSFM--
While it could be moving up, I rather expect a double top on the weekly. The daily shows the possible formation of a head and shoulders top. One could anticipate the right shoulder and look for a $7.50 target. IF, Pete, you do take an entry here, stop under yesterday's lod.

Thank you Dave for setting me straight!!

Stayed up too late last night . . . .

MSFT lovers: Careful dudes. I think it's at risk of going to 16.00. A weekly close under 22.80 increases the chances of that. But good luck.

Not in love with this one. That drop today is now under the 200 day, right in the bear's den. I don't care if Billy Eugene has $50 billion in cash; he has no new products to offer. AT&T and Kodak also have been sitting on piles and piles of cash, but that's old America.

          BillyJoe,
Here's a weekly chart of MSFT. Yeah, old Billy Eugene has disappointed the street before, but never like today. MSFT crash through the 200 day like Maude Smith crashing through the thin ice on top of the pond. What I'd suggest is that you look for bottoms via the Slow STO on the weekly before you jump in. Monday, if you get a bounce, you might consider jumping out and entering later. JMHO, my friend.

            Newborn,
If you think MSFT is so bad then you'd have to consider it as a potential short candidate. What signal or point would indicate the moment to short ? I hope you're wrong about MSFT. I'm betting this drop is an overreaction and wouldn't be surprised to see another special dividend .

              Newborn,
Is it true that both Cramer and Gates' middle names are Eugene ? I'd like to have their money but am glad not to be Billy Eugene.

There are Growth investors and income investors. My father only owns boring dividend paying stocks. I on the other hand don't.

A dividend is super for current stockholders who are in it for the long haul but it does nothing for the companies bottom line and shows up as negative growth after it's paid and the cash is removed from the balance sheet. AND.... it's not a deductable expense to the Corp. I am the only stockholder in my little company and I pay myself "director's fees" and not "dividends".... A directors fee is deductable, but you must be careful and follow a formula annually so the IRS won't view it as a dividend. A great CPA is essential.lol I noticed as I listened to ACTU's CC the other day that they pay their top guys with "directors fees" too. I like that, it's smart. The shareholders on the other hand get paid by the growth in share price.

MSFT has always been viewed as a growth company, once they start paying dividends the stock will seek a lower P/E ratio and just piddle along sideways. It seems MSFT started along that path today in advance of the "day of record"....

As a growth investor I would avoid MSFT right now.... Just my redneck opinion.lol

Without clues you'd never guess my middle name in a thousand years.

Clues: It's worse than Eugene.... It's in the Bible (New testament).... It's an Irish family name.... it starts with "R".... It means "Red Headed" and I'm a Jr... THANKS DADDY!!!!lol

btw.... We have no red heads in my family that I know of.
