I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Register for free and you'll be able to post messages on this forum and also receive emails when $$$ MR. MARKET $$$ makes his own trades. ($$$MR. MARKET$$$ is a proprietary investor and does not provide individual financial advice. The stocks mentioned on this forum do not represent individual buy or sell recommendations and should not be viewed as such. Individual investors should consider speaking with a professional investment adviser before making any investment decisions.)

or a million, if it goes to 92 again. BTW, BMHC is a screaming sell right now at 93! (only if you have a million bucks riding on it not falling 1% in a week)
I'll take my million. SELL at $93.02 NNNNOOOOWWWWWW!!!
No, I just saw Spike's chart too late!
And your GIL, that topped us all for one week [choices, choices], well today, it took it in the chops.
No, not too late, imo. About 10 min after you put your limit order in, BMHC dropped back under 93... I think you've made a very wise decision. Keep your eye on the prize, I say, nevermind the pretty charts!
Okay, now that I am $1 million richer, I think that--ONCE I GET MY CHECK (HINT HINT)--caviar ought to be in order. What do you think, Jiesen?
Caviar sounds great to me! Care to spring for a couple extra plane tickets to Las Vegas for me and the wife, now that you're a millionaire? I'd love to toast your new-found wealth over a few beers at Caesar's (hint hint).
New-born,
I didn't see your post until BMHC closed at 92.63 which would give you $1,002,923.19. Do you still want to sell? Is your irrational exuberance done with ? This is becoming a sticky situation. May have to consult with legal experts or better yet, Mr. Market members. Do we let New-born sell at 93.02? Does he really want to sell? Was 93.02 a stop/sell order? Earlier posts mentioned only allowing one stop per day, yet New-born had stops today at 95 , another at 100 , and maybe one at 93.02. Just want this all to be legal as does the "anonymous benefactor. Of course I'm on New-born's side, but this may have to go to a higher court, such as the Supreme Court. Who knows when they'll be in session again or who will even be on The Court when it reconvenes. All these factors must be considered. It reminds me of when my mother had a fire at her house after 40 years with the same insurer, suddenly they weren't available. After she finally got a check, the bank she went to weekly for 40 years didn't recognize her and wanted notarized identification. In this case we're talking about a much larger amount so you can realize the precautions that must be taken. I don't mean to be rambling ,but remember I'm just the messenger for the "anonymous benefactor" who, I'm sure is an honorable fellow. Don't worry, after expenses there certainly will be enough left to pay for the 1444 family sized pizzas to be delivered to all Mr.Market forum members. Hold on, New-born ,while everything is clarified.
Jiesen, who is known to thoroughly read all documents, what is your learned opinion? Watch out, Jiesen, he's trying to lure you to the dark side (TA). I've seen this happen before.
Wait a minute, New-born, I'm receiving communication from the "anonymous benefactor" right now.
I am quite sure the "anonymous benefactor" is an honorable fellow. I know that you wouldn't associate with anyone who wasn't. By the way, speaking of associates, I'd like you to meet one of my best friends and the family attorney, Perry Mason.
Stocksignal pro gave buy signals at the 9/22/05 market close......ISRG buy at 69.50 set stop at 65.75.....NTRI buy at 22.25........set stop loss at 21.40....
PTN buy at 2.05 set stop at 1.96 ........the program has had some good winners but losers also.........Good Luck!
Congratulations , Oh most esteemed and skillful American investor. You have met my monetary challenge and therefore funds in the amount of $1,007,145.82 American dollars have been deposited in a special account in the international bank of Bwandaro Fasi. In my country we laugh at such paltry returns (.715%) , but if you are happy , we salute you. This monies I assure you are secure and guaranteed as my uncle's brother , Secondo Fasi, is the grand potentate. To collect this dollars American, simply contact the proper representative and fill out the official paperwork. Should you decide to forego the proper steps, you may transfer these funds to the winner of a challenge of your own chosing.
Salutations and highest honors,
R.M.Tekram (benefactor)
New-born,
Whew, I was sweating that one out. I thought he might stiff you on the prize money. This is too nerve wracking. Last time I'll get involved in something like this. Well, all's well that ends well.

p.s. that guy must be a computer whiz, how did he get my avatar?

My opinion is that NBB made a proper limit sale at 93.02 (the correct move at the time) and therefore is due the 1007145.82 for his shares. I also think given the circumstances he should be allowed should he so choose to reinvest the funds, either with another purchase (be it limit, or otherwise) of BMHC or any other combination of stocks/bonds/tulips/pizza/caviar he so chooses.
BTW this R.M.Tekram sounds like a lightweight. My benefactor, a very nice man from Nigeria, has agreed to depoit $25M in my name, as soon as I send him the proper documents (SSN, Passport, bank account # etc). I've just been too lazy to get around to it... let's see where'd that e-mail go? Oh yeah, my junk mail empties after 5 days. Drat!
