I am amazed at the indexes and these levels. based on what is beyond me. I am still holding 200 shares of my ROST short. my stop is 56.35 range. I am holding it because I am convinced this market and ROST are way overbought and due for a correction. Until I reach that 7% stop point I am in. Still holding HOV from new entry at $2.75. those two are my only open positions in trading acct.

Invisible hand is till holding the market up, DOW can't hold 13000 for two days. You still think the DOW will correct soon? Are you still shorting ROST?

I'm back in at $2.75. Ended up putting gains from first entry back into more at $2.75. Glad to see someone is interested in the stock. I think it easily goes back above past highs around $3.75 / 4 levels.

that was a beautiful double or triple bottom cup base that it had formed over a long period of time just when I bought it. I thought it was a great buy at that time. I still like the stock, am waiting to see what the indexes are going to do. I'm anticipating a correction of some sort.Originally posted by wooish View PostTASR looks like bottom for now. I made a considerable amount of money with NJR over the past 35 years or so buy doing exactly what you have put on paper here. Could you imagine buying a stock for 35 years and never taking a nickel out of it and just turning the divys back into stock and rebuying as much as you can afford on the splits and doing it time after time. Believe me it works. All you have to do it do it and control the emotions.Originally posted by billyjoe View PostSki,
I was doing some calculating using 15% gains and 8% losses. If a person were to trade 1 Morpheus stock setup per month with a 50% success rate, selling all that drop 8% or gain 15%, they'd gain 40.25% in a year. At that rate $10,000 would turn into $1,139,733 in 14 years. Of course you'd be buying multiple stocks eventually with the money, but it seems very possible. End of year:
1. $14,025.37
2. $19,671.10
3. $27,589.76
4. $38,695.26
5. $54,271.56
6. $76,117.90
7. $106,758.22
8. $149,732.43
9. $210,005.38
10. $294,540.47
11. $413,104.11
12. $579,394.09
13. $812,622.05
14. $1,139,733
I make several fortunes each year on paper doing this.

I had been subscribing to Deron's letters for a number of years before giving them up last year. The reason being I have changed my plan and strategy to better suit my own mindset. Just as you have calculated I followed his picks and plan except for his target and exit strategy. I've always felt he exited to early similiar to Ernie and I am more of the mindset to hold on to let a trade run out farther to maximize the opportunity as long as they are running. Some proved to do alot better and some didnt but overall I made alot of money with him and his strategy is the basis of my overall plan but now adapted to better suit my trading style.
I am sure as the day is long that following his picks and strategy will not only make you money but install a mindset and technical ability to evolve into a much better trader in control of all the facilities necessary to make money at trading stocks. And the bottom line is that what is all about making money.
Those calculations you posted will work out almost exactly as you have stated if you follow him and incorporate them as stated. Good luck and I am ecstatic that you have come to realize the potential in his system and strategy. Keep a keen eye to his chart analysis and the patterns and formations that he uses time after time. You will begin to see the same recurring patterns at use time after time that provide the same winning trades time after time. It won't be long before that same ability to see a winning chart pattern will become ingrained in your brain.

AKRX did it finishing at 12.48 nearly 2% above breakout point on more than double normal volume. A 7% stop from 12.25 is 11.39 while a 15% gain is 14.09. Monday should be interesting. Barchart shows support at 12.12 and secondary support at 11.86. Place a stop wherever you feel comfortable.Originally posted by billyjoe View PostSki,
Morpheus' AKRX may be poised for a breakout gapping up today to a new alltime high then pulling back 2.5%. If it can finish the day around 12.25 on volume of around 1.72 mil. especially on a bad market day watch out for a quick 15%.

I got in AKRX at 11.41, I'm almost at my target 10% today. Another pop would be great here.Originally posted by billyjoe View PostSki,
