Long time no see Ski, glad to hear from you again. I've been looking at HOV since it was at 2.8 but never pull the trigger. It's great knowing that you're picking up HOV which gives me a bit more confidence.

Looking back, your track record especially on stocks you mentioned often can hold up against anyone. Just checked the 2 retirement accounts I hold NJR in. One is up 33.4% the other 38% and that's not counting the free shares from reinvesting. Only PM and AAPL are doing better. How about another NJR type recommendation while you're here? Je Je Je !

I love it when friends make money Billyjoe. If I come up with one you can count on hearing about it. the only hot tip I have right now and can pass along is Riverbabe. She is a babe and 110 % woman with a great head on her shoulders.
I haven't been setting the world on fire on the business end but I have made some money with silver and am still holding around 700 ozs. from $3 range. But I would like to see another Websman pick like that one he had awhile back. right now I am accumulating a NJ homebuilder. The symbol is HOV. Selling around 1.46 at the close today. Very very very cheap right now and if you take a look a the weekly it looks like it may have put in a bottom and is beginning to make the bottom of that cup. Homebuilders have taken it on the chin for several years now and with the election in 2012 and a good chance of getting rid of this administration this coming election, there is a good chance of their making headway. Anyway look at where this stock was in May of 2010 and back in the early part of 2009. They are a major player and I know that they have been quietly buying every bit of real estate they can at depressed prices. When the worm turns they will be in a very good position. 1000 shares at $1500 and sit on them for a bit and see what happens. Like I said they are a major player who have been beaten up badly over the past few years. Anyway this is one of my favs right now. BOA is another cheapo right now. I like the far out options play on them. Jan or march of 2012 are cheap and worth a play in my mind.

Over the last 20 years...an amazingly consistent annual return of 11%...compounded over 20 years is quite an overall return. Slow and steady wins the race!

NJR is nothing less than a wealth machine...look at the 20 year chart:

    AND it pays a dividend!!

These are the kind of boring stocks that make you rich.

    Ski,
    Wherever you are, Thank You!
Ski told me to buy NJR many times, I finally listened, made many purchases and am up 15.81% and 19.77% in 2 accounts. Also to a lesser degree Ski and River convinced me into buying NYB. Up 7.78% on it and am reinvesting dividends in each. While I don't buy every stock mentioned here, Ski and River's opinions always are well thought out and they are highly repected.
