    Hey Ski,

Are those deer, ummm, gay? Just kidding, dude... looks like your dad's buck is a little bigger than yours, but yours has a bigger rack. I bagged my first doe with a sluggun. I was shaking so bad that I could barely hold the gun up, but I dropped her as soon as I hit her. I never saw my dad act up his man-ness so much while he was dragging that deer up a hill. He got kind of mad when I asked if I could try yanking her to the truck and then grabbed the rope, went once around a tree and walked downhill, while pulling the deer uphill. He said, "you know, in all these years of hunting, I never once thought of doing that" He's a smart guy, too.

I don't hunt anymore with a rifle. I only archery hunt deer in the fall, and spring gobbler (with my trusty dusty mossberg 3.5" magnum w/ synthetic camo stock, choked down of course, for tight grouping)

What shotgun were you using that misfired?

I'm a Yuban guy, myself. There is a chain restaurant call Quaker Steak and Lube, they sell wings, but no oil.

I was using an old double-barrel that was full choke on one side and modified on the other. Real long barrel on that gun. I used to use it for goose hunting also. I would put a 00 buck in the full choke side and a #4 buck in the modified side. I still have that gun and use it for pheasant hunting occassionally. It is an Ithica. That was the only time it ever misfired. It was the shell on the modifice side.
I still bird hunt occassionally so I buy the gunning license but only bow hunt for the deer anymore. I have friends that have great bird dogs which are great to hunt behind if there are birds. These two boys were dressed out so all of their manliness is gone. I remember one year in high school, I think I was a sophmore, I killed a buck during the season and saved his testicles. You know the hair on their balls is real soft and the sacs are kind of soft also. I took the pair of them to school and I would take them out and hand them to a couple of the snotty preppy girls and then tell them what they were holding. I got suspended for a week for that one that year. So I had the week off for hunting with my old man and another week right after that for the deer balls. I was always doing something to get into trouble.

Cool pic & cool story, Ski. It got me to thinking about the word "buck" and how it came to mean "dollar," so it prompted the latest entry on my etymology thread.

            Peanuts,
Exactly, something just like that and then after they are bouncing them around in their palms and saying how soft they are I would lay the truth on them. Some of the faculty and administration just couldn't take a joke.

              Billyjoe,
My wife will stew a roast or chops or just make stew with the venison. When she does the roasts she puts them in one of them slow cookers and it cooks all day from early in the morning until dinner time. She'll put potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic and some other stuff in there and we lick the sides of the pot and plates so clean she doen't have to wash them.

More on gold and silver. This is Morpheus Trading Groups take on the two. That bottom chart of gold is making a nice symetrical triangle formation and that last candle is just sticking it's head above the top boundary of the triangle. In these ascending and symetrical triangles the formation of successive higher lows as it forms the pattern creates a solid base of ownership support which leads to the breakout above the top boundary line.

These 4 are on my top watchlist for entry:

                    NITE
                    TRAD
                    BVX
                    KNOL
                    HMSY

Anyone else been looking at these 4 since I mentioned them the other day. Have been in an out of BVX and KNOL already. I think NITE and TRAD will be ready this coming week along with BVX and KNOL.

Still holding SONS from $4.55 range. Exited HSOA at $5.35 for a .40 loss. Doug might just be right.

I added HMSY to my short watchlist. I'm expecting to take positions in any one of these or all of them this coming week. I've alread posted my play for HMSY on Louetta's thread and will be putting the particulars on the 4 later tonight or tomorrow.

                        Bought NITE today @ $17.81
                        Bought TRAD today @ $14.81
                        Own SONS from $4.55

Still watching BVX, KNOL, and HMSY.
HMSY pulled back today just as expectd. Looking for it to drop a bit further. But might not satisfy that. Will enter on first sign of bottom of pullback. See what happens at the open tomorrow.

On HMSY can you tell me specifically what you'll be looking for as bottom of pullback ? Thanks. Also does the volume with the drop concern you ?

I wanted to put up a chart but for some reason ImageShack isn't coming up and I couldn't upload it. Anyway today's volume didn't bother me. I was looking for a pullback, maybe not on 2.5 time daily average volume, but a pullback. I don't remember what Fridays volume was so I'm not sure if today was a distribution day or not. But I'm not worried about that as long as it doesn't continue for several days. I would think that tomorrow could give back some more to around $13.50 or a little lower would be nice. Take a look at todays 15 min. chart and see how much volume and price came back into the stock at the end of the day. The low of the day was $13.45 and it came back very strongly to close at $13.82. I think that I should have bought it today at $13.45 but missed it. It could drop to $13.50/13.25 range tomorrow morning and that's where I see the bottom. I think that with the volume that came back into it at the end of the day it's exhibiting strenghth in that someone is buying it up at those levels. Remember that not all of that volume was selling off. There was plenty of buying also. I'm looking for an entry as close to the bottom as possible, so I'll be watching it real close and when it appears to have reversed I'll buy in. Maybe it won't go any lower but I got what I expected today and it is now lower and has consolidated some of those recent gains which was necessary to continue the uptrend. I don't want to see it penetrate it's ema 20 line. It's been riding that and the 20 ma for most of this uptrent.
