I sold yesterday because that's not the first time it makes a new high on below average volume. Overall, the volume was receding lately while the stock was going up. Looks like it found support above 50-day MA though.

yeah, I was looking forward to that, too. and I'm sure CMTL will come back to 40 and above. In fact, I'll probably pick some up again if it gets down to 32-33, so I'll have even more powder to put into the inevitable next HUGE pick!

in the meantime, I'll have to work very hard to restrain myself from playing the pennies with that cash. GFCI has me all giddy right now.

I wouldn't feel to bad. This is a great stock and somewhat of an over reaction to their downgrade. For those holding it stinks but for the sharks lurking in the shallows this is a Godsend. I'll be one of the first in line to re-enter as soon as I see it bottom or see the momo guys start to push it again this coming week. I would love to see it go to 32/33 and so would probably a few thousand other swing traders. Then watch out for a great move back up to 36 or so.

It's still above its 50 DMA (right at it in fact), thus not acting too badly. Almost touching the lower channel also, but I'll let Spike expand on that one (if he's reading). Doesn't appear to be too far from a good entry price.

For those who believe the candlesticks I'd be more concerned about the hanging man top. But the sticks are only so reliable.

                  3% gain

I watched a 13.5% gain shrink to 3% after the downgrade, so I sold. But I'm also watching for a new entry point.

My opinion is worth no more than the price you paid for me to give it.

Forget the charts on this one right now. The downgrade by some lesser known financial firm, who is Unterberg (don't know if I spelled it right) anyway, propelled the anxious and skittzy out of their positions an opened a door of opportunity for the rest of us to get in at a much lower price. Be EXTREMELY patient and watch for a bottom. If you watch the markets during the day keep it on your list and get in on the big bounce once the momo guys and institutions start flooding back into the stock. This stock will definitely make it back to the 36 area and more. Be nimble and be quick. Once you see the move beginning don't procrastinate. Make your move. This is going to be a great opportunity.

                      I guess it's time for a new $$$Mr. Market$$$ model.
                      DF,

                        CMTL 28 May 2005

                        Here it is: risks abound

CMTL could rally higher--high enough for MM to get out of Dodge alive!
CMTL could round over--seems very likely to me.
CMTL could now start a down trend: also seems likely. Sure, it will sawtooth around, but that downgrade meant a lot to a lot of people, or else we would not have had panic selling Friday.

                        I am standing clear.

                          You're right -- no pouting

Sorry if that sounded like I was pouting. Actually, I've watched many nice profits go south. So, I'm happy that I was able to get out and still make a profit. That's always a good thing.

I also didn't mean to imply that $$$Mr. Market$$$ should change his stock picking model. I just meant that he should run another data dump. I'm sorry $$$Mr. Market$$$ if that came off sounding like I was bashing you, because I wasn't.

You weren't bashing or pouting. I was just pointing out that--to me, and I think everyone should follow this model--any profit is a good profit, even if we let more profit get away. Actually, you deserve congrats for selling while you still had a profit. THAT was smart, IMHO.

If one missed the last letter in the ticker symbol when purchasing CMTL (making it CMT) then he or she would be so much happier now Institutions has been so greedy for this stock so far.

Any ideas on CMT graph and prospects?

This was a great opportunity. Did anyone else grab any this morning. Right back up to 36.17. I jumped on it at 35.20 an sold off the position at 36.50 this afternoon. I love these overeactions. I also bought VTIV late this afternoon at 20.15. What I think is two great opportunities.
