I know a few who make me laugh an I'm sure I provide them the same enlightening moments with some of my antics. Like you said "onward". I agree with wanting to see everyone make money.

I'd like to know what you think of ENG. Yes, it made your top five. I was somewhat surprized at that because it was such a low buck play. Of your top five, was ENG your #2 pick? And do earnings really look that strong for ENG? Would you buy ENG? And anything else you might tell us would be appreciated.

So I would say looking forward, you could expect strong earnings from ENG. At this point I am not a buyer, however.
I don't think it ever showed up in any of my past data dumps. It made the top 5 primarily because of 12 month price momentum and r^2 coefficient.=============================

Spike,
This is interesting. I think the key terminology here is that HANS may not be shortable via the IB system. Other online brokerages may offer the stock for shorting thru their system. I'm pretty sure OSTK can be shorted thru some brokerages and that one is on the list. I can't qualify what brokerages as I only deal with Muriel Siebert and Options Xpress with my own trading. But I'm pretty sure about that. And with that new regulation the list changes from time to time. Stocks are listed and taken off from time to time depending on the brokerage. The SEC just wants to make sure that someone is holding the stock that is being shorted. That still doesn't prove anything one way or another as far as what actually took place.THE SKIRACER'S EDGE: MAKE THE EDGE IN YOUR FAVOR

Yeah, it is interesting ski. As far as IB goes, I've found them to be very good as far as their shortable stock availability (and I've been particularly impressed that IB allow shorting of sub $5.00 stocks when other brokers won't). But in hindsight I was perhaps wrong to assume from that "stock attributes" link that HANS was without question unshortable.
Curiously today I was told by another that HANS was unavailable for shorting at Cybertrader broker too, so go figure. But maybe it WAS available yesterday for mtm. Bottom line, I assumed that because it was SHO restricted and IB didn't have it available that mtm was attempting to win the liar-liar-pants-on-fire award, or maybe he was being tongue-in-cheek about shorting a stock MM is bullish and long withBut mtm, no offence intended and I was half dubious/half light-hearted when I posted it, but apologies for any interpreted poor attitude on my behalf. It's Friday and I'm having steak and a couple glasses of 'red' to unwind and contemplate the hugeness of this board and MM

Spike,
I was just curious and really am not an authority on the topic. I do know that what you pointed out is true about the Reg. SHO so it is a valid point.
Boy you are lurking in the shadows with your eye on all of us huh.
Enjoy that red Spike an always good to see your posts.THE SKIRACER'S EDGE: MAKE THE EDGE IN YOUR FAVOR

Hey Jiesen, do you have to buy these shares via calling your broker on the phone? When I had Scottrade, .pk stocks were 'unavailable' thru the streamer.
