    Lye,
Did you get that info I sent you? Who are you using for charts? For $29.95 a month you can get realtime charts from Stockcharts an everything else that goes with it like pre-determined scans, custom scanning features, an alot more. Also TC 2000 is just $29.95 a month with all the same features. Maybe not realtime on the charting but still a great service. Your charts do leave a little to be desired since you asked. Open one of those buried jars you keep the money in from the still operation out back of the barns.
Btw how was the fishing. Any stripers. Caught my first one this week, 27", on a black bomber swimming plug. The weather has cooled off here and they are starting their run down from New England waters. The action will really pick up this week once Wilma clears out. Been raining all of the week before this and started again yesterday an expect it to continue through to Tuesday.
I'll be on the beach for a couple of hours today and tomorrow in the rain and rough surf. Been blowing out of the south pretty good but they like the rought stuff so I thought I would give it a shot but not really good when it blows out of the south.

I trade thru Ameritrade/Apex (ain't married to them but they have made me a special deal on margin rates and cut my comission in half) and the above is a snapshot from a realtime intraday streaming chart on COHU from yesterday at around noon, I bought the stock at around 3:00 pm on Thursday. I changed the chart color in MS paint to decrease the file size (thus the funky colors) I posted it on a private forum that I am a member of. Below is what my real time streaming charts really look like.

I subscribe to Vector-Vest ProGraphics/ProTrader 6.0 and download nightly so I don't need to access an internet database to do my research. V-V is way more than a charting program but their charting program is pretty good in my opinion. They don't offer chaikin money flow or a few other features that I've seen you post from stockcharts.com.... But I CAN run Fibonacci retracements, fans, arcs, Tirone Levels, Gann fans and a host of other neat sh*t.... I have looked into TC2000, and I have a buddy who loves it. I might go ahead and get it too. Thanks for the input Ski, your opinion is valuable and you candor respected here.

Ski, The weather was PERFECT!... Caught a nice mess of spots from the pier and some nice Blues from the surf. Caught a few flounder but they were too small and I released them....Those spots.... I released them in about 3 inches of hot oil.

          Lye,
Your charts don't suck. I thought that first one that you posted was alittle hard to decifer although the second one you posted was much clearer and better and with good gains like that last one who cares what the charts look like.
You didn't answer about the fishing trip. Any luck?
Sorry Lye, spoke to soon. Didn't see the last post. Sounds like you had some good fishing. They're getting big blues here and the weakfish have basically stopped. Stripers starting up now.

I'm hoping to get out on my favorite reef next week, before the Red Snapper season ends.

Fishing about the only thing I get excited about other than trading.

              Webs,
In the mid 1950's my dad was stationed in Key West. He flew blimps and we spent 3 years there. The Navy had a bunch of reconditioned PT and other smaller boats that Navy personal could take out when they wanted to. We would go out almost every weekend, about 12/15 people, on fishing trips in the Gulf. All kinds of fish but the best eating were the red snapper. Still one of my favorite eating fish. We don't get them up here in Jersey but some restaurants carry them. This is my favorite time of the year for surf fishing. The stripers are real good eating and you have to put in alot of time in catching them. Sometimes we'll hit a blitz and every cast will produce a fish but not to often. Now the bureaucrats have taken it over and your allowed one a day an if you send away for the bonus tag and get it you can take a second one but it has to be over 38". They change the rules every year it seems and the first one has to be a minimum of 24" this year. Got my first one last week. Now I'll be on the beach every morning from about 4:30/5 am to around 7:30 or just before I get the guys started working an some nights when the tides and moon are right.

@ Runner; those direct linked charts look good now dude. Glad you worked it out too Ski!

And Runner, a plugin is just a .dll file that will allow extra things to work within irfanview, like file format plugins that allow irfanview to handle all types of file formats. There are also plugins for external audio/video playback, like Quicktime or MPEG movie plugin.

@ Lye; If you use the "Hotlink for forums (1)" then your chart will automatically appear in the thread without us having to click on your link. And if you (or anyone else reading this) can't automatically see images in the page, you need to do this:

Spike, pretty good signal. Thanks for sharing it. I’ve noticed when a extreme spike occurs above the 200EMA it normally appears to get retested or stays above the 200 for about 1 week. Notice the huge spike back in April. Nice signal!! Seems that the QQV will spike high and the QQQQ will spike low. I think this seems to offer a very good signal

This chart show the QQV and bottom QQQQ.

                      • I backed the chart out to show better example

Long signal, notice spike high (upper chart) and spike low (lower chart) signal long?

                        • Here is a short term indicator for the COMPQ. Same principle as Spikes chart. Up is down and down is up. Looking at the VXN one could see it might be best to wait.

                            • S&P500 is at what I’ll call the moment of truth. I’ve been keeping my eye on the 1200 area and this is where the bull/bear fight will occur IMO. Hold above the 1200 and I’m back in the Bull camp, but this could be a leaping point for the bulls and another leg down for the bears. Next area of concern is the April, May lows. Despite some positive moves in the markets I still sense a caution tone with a more bearish overtone then bullish. We shall see if the bulls want to play or if they retreat farther from the BEAR.
