    ACTS.

I've owned it in the past and got stopped out, but I just bot some when it dropped to 5.6+/- and popped right back up like a cork in the same day. But it'll probably sit right around here for a while more...like a few months maybe. As long as it doesn't make a lower low I'll hold it for the payoff. Some stocks I have more patience with than others.

      Tatnic,
Originally I meant "inexpensive" and didn't want to use "under $10" since some others claim to own that term. In most cases you could say they are "undervalued" by many standards of valuation.

This bunch doesn't appear as strong as May's or June's. Hard to get agreement on the dirrection of these due to technical uncertainty in the next 30 days. Some of the highest rated were rated "hold" even by the service giving them the scores.

*couldn't get MSN money rating ,but rated extremely high by barchart and vectorvest

There seems to be no correlation between number rating and performance for the month. For instance, in June , 5 stocks returned above 15%. They were in order BPHX ICOC CRNT MIVA and CCC, however, their numerical ratings were 6,7,4,9,1.

I've decided to buy the stocks once they've risen 5% from the start of the month. 7 months of research tells me that few of these will drop below initial posting price after a 5% gain in the first 10 days of the month. So far I've bought SMTX MEA IOM with a 10% stop loss on them. At last glance ASX TOPT and MIVA are also up over 5%, but I can't buy them all.

            Tat,
ASX hit 52 week high today. Price up 4%, but volume only up maybe 2%. Only .01 over my buy point. MSN and CAPS rating are highest possible. Barchart opinion for short, medium, long term nearly 100% buy. Vectorvest gives it a VST of 1.26. Rating has substantially increased since July 1st. May buy tomorrow after observing for first hour or so of market trend.

lord knows I've been wrong afore...but I spotted this one a few weeks ago when it popped up on the new highs list and I liked the chart and the fact that it traded on the big board. But I do think you have to hold it for at least a year to get a decent return, ie 50% or more.

                    papa,
Good entry on MEA. It dropped after I bought and now continues in an uptrend.

                                What are your thoughts

SWEB ---- A news release on HBI brought me to this stock. You might like the looks of this one, only lost a penny today and has held up pretty well over the last couple of weeks. Could use some more vol. but then out of sight out of mind is a good place to place your pennies.

MEA is on my watch list and I do like the looks of this one on an over all basees. We will just have to wait a little more to see what this market is up to. Thanks for the heads up tho. Marlin
