Sorry, Dave, I don't. I don't even know what TASC mag is. I subscribe to SFO, and I could always search the net for info on the ADX. I have done some study with it, but I don't use that indicator. I follow the STOs, the RSI, and the ULT. I also use the 10 and 50 day moving averages.

What I really like about your posts is your excellent ability to identify stocks ready to jump higher. I need to hone that aspect of my trading.

The new senior notes won't affect the stock price. The convertibles are potentially dilutive so that could negatively affect the stock price if the price rises to or above $51.26, the conversion price on the 1.75% debentures, or $47.16, the .25% debentures.

            • PD target

I measure the top of the resistance line to be around 167. A 1.618 Fib. extension of the 1/4 - 1/20 pullback is about 169. So I'm prognosticating (fancy word for "guessing") that PD will run to 167 - 169.

Up only .48%, much less than the 500, Dow, NDX and the SOX.

HGX fails on the attempt to close back above its 200DMA. The bears are still in charge, it so appears.

Good explanation of the ADX Dave(below)...As far as TASC...I don't subscribe...but they send me comp copies for about 3 mos...then nothing for 3 mos...then 3 more comp mos. I seem to remember quite a while ago that someone at this board wrote an article or two for them...Doug(IIC)

                          ERS - how high?

                          Hi Steckler,

Looks like ERS has made it onto the IBD100 as the new #1. The float on that one is quite small, under 4 million shares. So it's a "jumpy" mover...

It seems overbought here, but I am quite sure that it will gap-up at the open on Monday. I am thinking that $19 is a realistic price target. How about you?

                          Thanks for all the help!

P.S. I sold STP today at $39, but of course it then headed to $40 but then was as low as $35.78, so I am watching to see if I want to re-enter it at $35.80 or so again....

We'll know in the fullness of time. With the Fed meeting on Tuesday, it's anyone's guess as to how the market reacts.

                            • Float > 7 million, ERG > 250

CDIS - Disclosure: I own this one. Very strong ERG = 280. Pulled back last week to its 50DMA and bounced higher. Estimates for the next two quarters look great, up 43.66% and 77.14% respectively, YOY.

RHAT - ERG = 277. Like CDIS this bounced last week after hitting the 50DMA. Estimates for the next two quarters are up 100% and 28.57% respectively, YOY.

ASPM - broke out Friday on 1.5X ADV and closed abck above its 50DMA. ADX is very low, at 13.39. Both daily and weekly technical indicators suggest higher prices, assuming the market doesn't crap out. ASPM retraced 38.2% of the rise from 9/20 to 12/2 and then moved higher, which is very bullish.

                              • Float < 7 million, ERG > 250

ADAM - Broke out of a symmetrical triangle on Thursday but pulled back 9 cents on Friday, albeit on lighter volume than when it broke out. ERG = 260. Unless it falls back below the triangle's former resistance line, the projected target objective is the width of the triangle at its widest point (10.0 1- 7.33 = 2.6 added to the pivot price (8.70), for an objective of 11.38. This corresponds exactly to the Fib. 1.50 extension target of 11.38 as well.

NURO - broke out of a small descending trend channel on Friday. ERG = 258. Estimates for then next two quarters are up 171.43% and 180% respectively, YOY.
