Well...I nominated Park to be the "Event Coordinator"...Didn't see any objections...So I say we have it in Vegas...Park seems to have more connections there than Steckler anyway...My preference is Hooters...But I will go along with whatever Park comes up with...As long as it's not the Klondike...Although they do have a great 10 cent roulette deal...And free hot dogs out by the cement pool on Tuesdays...IIC

PLEASE! the Klondike (was across the street from the Mandalay) is gone with the desert wind. (I already pointed you to the Gold Spike!) Land on the Strip is worth $8M an acre and up. The new South Coast casino (Coast Casino company is now owned by Boyd Gaming - symbol: BYD) was just opened about *2 miles* south down LV Blvd from the Mandalay Bay.
This might another reason for some of you consider meeting in Vegas around May 15th. This is not a bad take:

Chris Ambrose is now a host at Hooters. He used to be my host at the Luxor and is a nice guy. If you meet the RF or RFB minimums, he'll be sure to take care of you."Trade What Is Happening...Not What You Think Is Gonna Happen"

<< I don't even know what RF or RFB means???... >>
R = Room
F = Food
B= Beverage (booze)
How much a player is comped (players rate for room, R comp, RF comp, or RFB comp) depends upon how much action you give the casino. For example, at the Luxor:
1) A $50 average bet for a minimum of 4 hours/day gets you the discounted players rate for the room instead of the rack rate;
2) A $125 average bet for a minium of 4 hours/day get you a room comp only;
3) A $175 average bet for a minium of 4 hours/day gets you a room comp/food/booze limited to the coffee shop and buffet; and
4) A $225 average bet for a minium of 4 hours/day gets you a room comp/food/booze at all restaurants, including the gourmet restaurants.

Double check to see if it's really free, Doug. Manadaly Bay (same owner as Excalibur) mailed out what looked like free offers but the very fine print said it was based on how much play the guest gave the casino.
