      Thanks, Lye-baby.
Now please pop on over to "Options' thread and watch how I am playing this loser IF SIRF falls down to $30, I stand to make $3 per share on her.

Bright side.... Ain't too late to profit from this stocks slide. I'll wait for a proper entry.

Spike! Keep posting activily here on SIRF.... I want your opinion of a great entry now..... btw HUUUUGE call on that Diamond bearish top with broadining bearish pattern dude. HUUUUGE!!!!
          Thanks for the props, dude.

Yup, it's easy to look for the boxing glove in times like this. You had it and you gave it up to protect yourself from something you thought was very real; risk of volatility against you. And it's wise to be flat or hedged for earnings plays. So if you'd hedged, you'd be out the cost of the calls and that would have reduced this 10% gain some. Anyway, just put it down as an educational expense and modify the fear factor in future. But that said, being flat is still a position and you only lost opportunity in order to take a protective stance. And this still has 26% profit from these levels in my current view, so you've lossed only a third of the trip; you caught the slow bus while brave souls drove in the sportscar with the nut at the wheel.

Now today, the market sold the pivot hard on volume, and the fuzzy count has this morning's high up near the pivot as the 'c'. My stop on this short bias sits above that 'C' at 35.64.

The next valid short play today is the intraday pivot of 35.33 with sub 1% risk to target 26% is r/r of 26 and real nice.

If that setup fails there is sure to be better entries today and I'll post if I see 'em!

And don't forget that ze market might just hit the combined buy button on such a big overnight discount, so don't get too loose with stops everyone.

From experience, earnings flops like this do have a tendancy to trade frustratingly from this point in time for the next couple of hours until all the chop is out of it and it acts slippery for the last few hours. So ya got plenty of time, and you'll probably see several strong shows of strength you'll be able to leverage. So stalk those patient trades like the cool cats yall are

As I type, it's selling pretty hard from that pivot still; boy, it looks sick. But patience!

I should say it this way, IF SIRF is between $30 and $35, I stand to make at least $3 per share.

And I do note everyone that there is 23.35 gap support from Sept 05, which is 31% below current prices. Plenty of time to make the bus

OK, this is an aggressive short setup at 34.00 volume resistance, to coincide with a smaller fuzzy 'c'. With 1% stop which sits just above that last price resistance. Great r/r that.

                        $34.55

                        Spike,
I have SIRF calculated for a $34.55 high between now and the close. Reverse head and shoulders forming now. Realize that's a rough estimate, but that will give us some idea where to look.

OK, NB, thanks. I'm gonna read over your thread for sure to pick up whatever nuggets of gold you lay out there

OK, tested the '4', popped over it, and current prices present the 1% risk play. It's one of those jumping mouse moments

So much interest in SIRF. Can anyone start a thread on SIRF only. Would be easy to track the posts.
