Well, its not like owning a pet that you can dump at the humane society if you find you're not really a pet person. Many kids get "dumped" like that and turn out pretty bad for society. Don't know if you read Freakonomics, but the drop in violent crime during the 90's was tightly correlated to legalized abortion.

I'm not implying that Lou would be a "bad" parent, just argueing with Doug about parenthood. That book by the way is pretty interesting.

Its a weightlifting exercise. You stand in the midst of this metal frame and extend each arm out to the side with hands at chest level in a cross like posture and grab a hold of a handle with each hand. The handle is attached to a stack of weights. Then you make a motion like hugging a large tree which brings the chest muscles into play. Usually you bend your elbows slightly. With the proper set up this can also be done lying down on a bench or bent at the waist. It can't actually make your boobs bigger since they are not made of muscle but to the extent that increasing the size of the chest muscles or the back muscles makes you upper body look bigger it can give the impresssion that you do in fact have bigger boobs than you do. The jig is up when you take your clothes off but of course any boy you get to that stage with has been carefully vetted so that you know he doesn't care how big they are.

Ohhhhh...Now I get it...There's a BIG difference between BIG chested and BIG boobs...Why did I have to be born beautiful instead of intelligent???...But I guess I'll just have to live with this curse.

BTW...Here's a little tip for people who spend too much time in front of their computer like me...I have an old Thigh Master that I gave my wife years ago...She never used it and I had to fish it out of the garbage twice and once I had to give her a dollar not to sell it at a yard sale...

When I'm sitting in front of the computer I use it at different angles with my arms mostly while I'm reading posts, charts etc...It is not like lifting weights but it is similar to Isometrics if you use it right...Very helpful...In fact, Peanuts looks sorta scrawny...I'll bet it could help build his chest.

I prefer the pec deck to the crossover cables. Of course bench press is king in this neighborhood. You can pitch a tent on my chest.

Now this is an exercise Al Gore (no. 9 on this list) can really get behind.

Most pec decks seem to be engineered for men, or at least someone a little more rangey than I am. Bench press only works the muscles in one grove, unless of course you tilt the bench at various angles which few people do.

I have a bench press bench in a spare room...but I guess it is a cheapo one 'cause it is not adjustable...doesn't matter though because I only have 460lbs of iron...Hey, who wants to be my spotter???

Co issues downside guidance for Q4 (Dec), sees EPS of $0.05-0.07 vs. $0.16 Reuters Estimates consensus. Co issues downside guidance for FY06 (Dec), sees EPS of $0.43-0.46 vs. $0.49 consensus and prior guidance of $0.56-0.60. Co cited weakness in the Rebuilding/Remodeling sector as a slowdown in the housing industry impacted work with certain of the Company's customers. The Company also experienced delays in commencing work in New Orleans due to delays in government funding for several projects. Co also announced that Rick J. O'Brien, President and Chief Operating Officer, will resign effective April 15, 2007, to pursue other opportunities. Mr. O'Brien's operating responsibilities will be assumed by two new division managers.
