Wouldn't 'ave gone with my favorite outfits. I see you're in the UK. I'm watching an episode of the Two Fat Ladies cooking show where they prepare sandwiches for some cricketeers. The locations are beautiful.Originally posted by microchips View PostYou definitely blew it with the purple hair, it should have been pink!!!

Micro and Luetta
Yes some things are best reserved for the youth of our country . While sitting in starbucks one lady in her 40's walked in wearing those LUG boots, a tight short skirt, with white skin tight stockings, and she looked as if she was hiding 2 racoons in her back pocket..oh my lord , she was enough to turn a satyr into a celibate.Originally posted by microchips View PostLike what???

Yes indeed the locations they used to shoot their cooking programs are spectacular in the least, they range in places from Lighthouses to tents in fields; from Devon/Cornwall to the wilds of Scotland. The ladies made four series and the last being in 1999 which saw the demise from lung cancer of Jeniffer. It was a great shame because they brought normal food to cookery programs that anyone except "veggies" would eat. They also occasionally would get pissed on camera and smoke like troopers which added to the shows appeal to young and old alike.

I also watch Jamie Oliver. The Cooking channel is running two of his shows, Jamie At Home and Jamie's Food Escapes. The first he does from his home in Clavering, Essex, I believe, which is a fantastic vintage large cottage surrounded by raised gardens and a greenhouse or two. In Food Escapes he does an hour show in a different country each week and visits various shops and local location. Great stuff.Originally posted by microchips View PostHi Louetta,

More time please!!
Jamie Oliver is credited with single handedly changing the way school meals are put together in the UK. From grease sodden chips and burgers etc to carrots, healthy fresh veg and salads. This has had the effect of the crap distributors profits going down the pan and are having to be subsidised by the good old tax payer( no surprise there then),it has also been known for the dear little sods mothers to bring their fat little offspring Mucky Mac"s or fish and chips for their dinners instead of the healthy option advised by Mr "O".Originally posted by Louetta View PostI also watch Jamie Oliver. Jamie also does a meal in 30 mins show but if you ever try one of his quick meals allow yourself 2 1/2 hours at least because he does talk a load of "bollocks" sometimes.....

Yeah, it could be real. Could be quite sketchy, too.... Nevada, China, lots of room for funny numbers between Dec. '09 and Dec. '10, when the Annual came out. What I want to know is why their revenues from skateboard sales dropped by $5.5M last year!Originally posted by Louetta View PostI'd be interested to know what you think of the SEC filings. It looks like a real company to me.
Then again, total sales are up $10M, profits are very nicely increasing, and if all that's true, why the drop in share price from $5 to $0.5? Something just doesn't add up here, so I'll keep reading and see what else turns up... the $10M non-recurring raw material 'sale' doesn't sound quite kosher to me, either.
From their 10-K/A:
Sales Revenue
Total consolidated sales for the year ended December 31, 2009 increased by $9,902,587 as compared to year ended December 31, 2008. The increase was driven by the higher sales of fans and lamps of $25,347,020 over the comparable period of 2008 due to the acquisition of Weihe, which occurred in October, 2008. These increased sales are partially offset by a decrease of $18,178,897 of Well Profit's revenue which was due to approximately $10 million of sales in 2008 of raw material recorded in 2008 which did not repeated in 2009 and a decrease of $5,556,149 in the sales of skateboards.

Do you not want to have to fight the hustle and bustle of NYC? I always thought that we would eventually have you as a GS or JPM insider. Don't sell yourself short.Originally posted by Louetta View PostI have a real job at a Boston brokerage house.
Think about this: sunny warm weather, you and some friends have got a little vacation time, want to remember what adrenaline feels like, drive a few hours to western PA to do this:
