Thanks, dude! I have had a bunch of great trades lately and nobody has even considered to rate my thread with any stars, yet... not even for grammar and spelling sake. You know, I neeeeeeed that affirmation

Maybe if I said that I was 40 something with a wife and kids and a mortgage payment people would respect me more.

There are a few people having fun, er, I mean, shorting, SWSI. Though it is a great company, and one of my earnings stories, I think the stock has some shortable attributes on the technical side. What do you think, Lye?

Peanuts.... What's your plan with TIII? I know that Bruce (Poor Man's) liked it once but it seems to just flounder.

I've also noticed that all of these (above) open positions are very thinly traded. Does it worry you that if a very low volume stock starts to slide it's hard to sell?

Well.... You can come off as a bit cocky for a 24 year old snot nosed kid. You're askin' for respect from fellas who could be your father and/or grandfather here dude, they've "been-there/done-that".... btw, why aren't you married with kids and a mortgage?

What you need is to see a therapist to discover why you have such an inferiority complex.

I think you should really look for stocks with greater volume Peanuts. I'd advise you to look to short trade a larger cap issue with high volume, it's safer when you need to jump off the trade quick....

If TIII turns into a LTBH, that's fine with me. I'm confident in this company's ability to make a significant profit. I think it is trading below it's real value, but one day will come into a range that suits the company better. I made a poor decision when I entered the trade, but not a poor decision on the company. I was anticipating an event that has not happened yet in order to help boost demand for the stock. This should be a quick gainer once it starts to run...

I am not worried about how thinly a stock can trade. I worry about a value put on each share. As a matter of fact, I sort of enjoy thinly traded stocks. They can offer you great opportunities (buying or selling) when volume picks up. I don't make rash decisions on these types of stocks. These stocks are the kind that when I open a position, I do so knowing more about them than the other stocks that I trade. I put a fundamental value on them and work from that angle.

Would it matter if I was actually 4 years older than that?

You see, the oddest thing that I have witnessed regarding people is that the older we get, the more we feel that we are right all the time. It is harder for us to absorb new information and use it to our advantage as we age. Older people have a much more difficult time changing their thought patterns and belief system. This is scientific knowledge and I have personally experienced it. A generic age caste system is in place throughout the world, and it is as old as the Bible (honor thy mother and father). I have witnessed that some older people disregard us younger people. I, for one, don't take that very well, and like to prove to those same older people the error of their ways. Funny thing though- they don't like to learn from a "young pup"

I never get respect from old people. Yes, I do have an attitude, and that fact may be a major reason for this. I have made many enemies by coming back at people and slapping them in the face with my accomplishments... always the people that have doubted me or disregarded my ideas. I love to be right, and I love rubbing it in the face of people that think they were more right than me. I have a very abrasive personality.

I do not have a wife, child, or mortgage because I cannot find anyone that will put up with my crap long enough. I'm sure you know all about the stubbornness of a some bulls... I can relate that to myself. It is not easy to like me, and I sort of like it that way. I've been within 2 months of being married before, but I was much younger and did not have a clear idea how I wanted my life to be. She wasn't "the one." Now, I get to have many.

you're right. SWSI is a bad short. The fundamentals are too strong, and if a position could not be watched all the time, I think it would be pretty risky...

Never once had a problem keeping a job. I have been with my current employer since 2002. I have advanced rapidly within the company. Part of this is due to the fact that my father is president. The other part is because I have more than doubled sales, started several new accounts, introduced a modernized accounting system, improved both the safety and output of the production department, and implemented new marketing concepts and procedures. It is a small company that began in 1998, and until I arrived, had been operating as if it was 1950. My contributions to my employer have been noticed. I have done just about everything there is to do with this company.

When I am "old" I hope to be more open-minded than the type of people I have come to dislike. I also plan on operating my own business- with lots of fresh young minds that want to prove themselves to the world. I have plans, dude, big plans.

All this and you have time to play the market during the day. I'm impressed - does your employer mind your doing non-company activities during business hours?

business hours? what's that? I work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, dude. I get calls from China in the middle of the night. For Thanksgiving last year, I had dinner with a bunch of Indians and Chinese in Guangshan, China. My employer knows that if a job needs to be done, they can count on me.
