What about the Weather?

Cruising The Coast, at this time I cannot get my radar feed to pick up current weather activates in Mexico. I just got off my roof and tried to adjust my dish but have been unsuccessful. I will try to reach my buddy (in Mexico)on the ham radio and get a weather synopsis. I have not communicated with my buddy in some time and I’m not sure what radio frequency he monitors. In any event we will continue to research composite radar echo’s in CA to attempt to determine Marine conditions and possible weather fronts…I will also monitor the buoy #46025 that sits just west of LA. We also might consider historic weather conditions over the last 10 years and cross-reference this in our database. Please remember past performance is no guarantee of the future. Don’t forget to take some motion sickness pills…

Doug, hope you enjoy your trip.. Here is a question I have. Why is it that when you flush the toilet north of the equator the water moves in a clockwise fashion down the drain and South of the equator it moves counter clock wise?

yeah, they'll be the first casualty of global warming. We came up with an idea on how to help them, but it only gives them a resting place. They get most of their food by catching seals on the ice flows...if the seals leave because they're no more flows, then the bears starve or look elsewhere for food.

Our idea was to build floating platforms so the bears at least have a place to rest and won't die from exhaustion. But that doesn't solve the food problem for them.

Not sure if they're still hunted although the inuits may still do so. It takes alot to kill a polar bear and I can't believe they're edible so what's the point?

Sure they're edible.... Why wouldn't a polar bear be edible? I've eaten black bear, I'd eat a white bear if I had one to eat.... I like a polar bear rug in my office.

A new job for Runner?

Hey Runner.... You might be able to get a job as weatherman at WSLS Channel 10, our local NBC affiliate. Their long time weatherman was recently terminated from his position (see link). I know the dude that fired him very well. Shane, my neighbor, is a great guy.... He flies his ultralight airplane around the valley. He takes off and lands in my hay field.

Who knows? if there are no nude photos of you floating around the internet you might just qualify! LOL!
