3/17/08 Happy St Patrick's Day

The BAD NEWS BEARS are out and Today ya just may need that "Depth Charge" ( Shot And Beer) down at the old Irish pub. Many will place their head between their legs and kiss their ASS goodbye ......but all hope is not lost , think clearly , focus and these picks will help save the day.

Bernanke speaks , and who knows what will happen , but I still think GOLD will be strong and financials weak

5. SCHW SHORT this one .....Charles schwab has been in decline and the chart looks lousy, Short or buy SEPT 08 17.5 PUTS SHQUW. Yes they do give you great personal service , but their fees are HIGH , and if you decide to transfer your account they slap on a big 75 dollar fee .....screw them , in these tough times people will go with Scott or TD Ameritrade.

Do you like the signals from gstock.com? I received some buy signals on 3/6 after I checked out their website....The 7 that I picked to watch out of their list are up 14.21% as of today....not bad if you ask me.....Just wondering if the premier membership is worth it....

HAGS I am only a FREE member ..I have too many sites I go to .....and if I subscribed to all ........I would be in the poor house. I subscribe to many newsletters .....but eventually drop about 90% of them ......They all appear to have such high prospects.....but deliver virtually lousy results .....anyone is good when the market is hOT.....but in a market like we have now....finding winners is difficult .

5. V Visa very hot stock I bought yesterday at 55.63.....of course she make sink to the low 50s ......but I don't think it will go much lower than that . I bought some for my daughter's Roth IRA , and my recommendation would be to gradually average in for a LONG HOLD ......I think you will DOUBLE your money in the next 2 -3 years and you can take that to the bank.

You only have a few days to get in on what I'm calling a "sleeper" money maker. It is PM/WI soon to be Philip Morris Intl (PMI). PMI will be spun off from MO as its international unit. Not really a sleeper since it traded 1.1 million shares today, PMI has 80,000 employees in 100 countries. These employees speak 80 different languages and hail from Europe, Africa, and Asia.
While domestic tobacco sales are dropping , over 3.3% last quarter, international sales are increasing at the same rate. Outside of the U.S. revenues are more than 2 1/2 times our domestic sales. Last year totalling over 48 1/4 billion. PMI currently produces 15.4% of the world's cigarettes and is just getting into the market in China and India.

--------Shareholders of MO will get one share of PMI for each share of MO held as of March 19th. PMI will begin trading under new symbol on March 31.

You still can purchase shares of PM/WI (PMI when issued) Wednesday and Thursday. I could get the quote from my online brokers site but couldn't purchase except through a broker assisted trade by phone. They charged the same as an online trade. I've already made money on this and believe the price when issued will be above the current 51.75. It also will pay a nice dividend around 3.56%.
