I don't think I understand your question...I subscribe to IBD but I only use it for a few things...EPS announcements is not one of them. They publish EPS but I don't look at their's...I'm assumming that they publish them in the following day's edition as long as they come out before their press deadline??? Problem is that if you don't take eIBD, which I recently cancelled 'cause I rarely looked at it, you have to wait till the next day to read the print edition.

There are sites that update EPS announcements...but they charge and I'm not sure how good any of them are.

There are a couple of methods I use although none of them are sure-fire as catching all EPS reports.

1) Check Earnings.com
2) I put the companies who will announce (premkt announcements usually) in my streamer. When I see them move pre, then I just check news on them at Yahoo, Dow Jones...There are many sites that list EPS calendars...never found one that was 100% complete...but I post the weekly/monthly EPS calendar address every Sunday at MrBreakout.com...it is free from Rightline, but there are plenty of others including Yahoo.
3) Premarket I always have the news headlines and alerts pages up from this site: http://www.realtimetraders.com/cust/...stk_alerts.asp
The alerts are delayed after the mkt opens unless you pay...but it is great for pre market. They also have an eps pages, but they are not very complete.
4) Many cos. announce right after the close...Watch DJN and you'll see them come up.
5) Go to prnewswire.com ... problem is you'll be sifting through a lot of junk.

There are other places I use too...but those come to mind and should keep you busy...Best, IIC

ThanksIIC , There are "services" being sold for over $150 per year that are sending old information. I checked one out and sure enough companies reporting outstanding earnings or upgrades were mysteriously making big price jumps usually 24 hours before data was sent out. Downgrades were also late. Everybody out there please be careful and do your homework before signing up for any stock information . More timely news can often be had for free.

Don't really know how many people I actually told...but my job situation for the next 3 years has been up in the air for months since I work on a contract basis...Kept me from trading as much as I would like...but I've done OK...Anyway, I had 4 offers...today I accepted a new position...very similar to what I'm currently doing(RE related)...It will start on 2/1...however, I will finish up my old job on 1/31. So, I will be very busy probably through April until everything gets all settled.

I will still be around daily and I will continue w/ Mr B and some other web stuff that will be coming out...but my daytrading days will be very limited to early morning quickies.

Anyway, I'm happy about the way things turned out...so now I can go Christmas shopping
