Yes Billy...It was on the list as recently as the end on July. Unfortunately it misses the cut on only one criteria...But I can't tell you which one it misses on...If I told you... I'd have to kill you

You see, even though I give a general description of my criteria...I'm the ONLY one who knows the complete criteria...My wife doesn't know it...Even my trading partner doesn't know it...It is not even stored on any of my 4 computers...The only way it will ever be revealed is if I have a laptop with me on my death bed...Although, come to think of it...I might consider telling you for an amount in the low 7 figures....Like $5 million cash.

Now think carefully about this billyjoeY. This is a man who does not trust anyone with his secrets! Even his wife. Even his trading partner. Why in the world would he trust his secrets to a senile guy from Ohio with a limp? For $ 5 million cash? Not on your life! Notice he said "I might consider telling you..." Besides, we already know that at least 3 of the 4 computers are not functional and are still in their original boxes, never set up! So, he's also a wannabe con artist! All you have to do is be there when he's on his death bed to confiscate the laptop! So how do we do it? You know, get him onto his death bed. On the other hand, is something as trivial as his so-called valuable secret really worth it.....? How much could we sell it for? Notice here, I am volunteering to be a co-conspirator for a cut of the loot if it's worth in the range of the low 7 figures! River

Okay, just send billyjoe the account number! He's already (in the past) promised you a big surprise when you do! (Keep in mind that midnight PDT is already 3 AM tomorrow morning Ohio time. Yawn...).

                          Doug,
My choice for the contest was between CATS and HLIT. I chose HLIT since CATS may have been overextended. I was wrong.

CATS looked like it recently has been coming out of an HTF...However, since I'm not a chart pattern expert maybe somebody else should comment...LOL

Also notice that the overall volume last week was only average for the 5 days combined. However, I don't mind seeing higher volume when it finally bottoms...sort of the inverse of the exhaustion run on the upside. Too early to tell for me because the overall market has done so well the last 2 days and I don't know how long that will last but I can envision 17.50ish to 18.00 before another major pause here...Doug

Well...it didn't go dn to support as I saw it and it didn't go quite as high as I thot...On your end a lot depends on your style and goals...If you loaded up...I recommend trimming if you didn't already...Long Term I like it...Short Term is risky IMO

Demand for previously owned homes tumbled in August to the lowest level in five years as mortgage market troubles hurt sales.
Home resales fell to a 5.50 million annual rate, a 4.3% decrease from July's unrevised 5.75 million annual pace, the National Association of Realtors said Tuesday.
The August resales level was in line with Wall Street expectations. It was the lowest pace since 5.36 million in August 2002.
"The credit market freeze in August no doubt contributed to the sales decline," NAR senior economist Lawrence Yun said.
The median home price was $224,500 in August, up 0.2% from $224,000 in August 2006. The median price in July this year was $228,700.
Yun said the unusual disruptions in the mortgage market, including a significant climb in jumbo loan rates resulted in a fairly high number of postponed or canceled sales.
"Lower sales contributed to a buildup of unsold inventory," he said.
Inventories of homes rose 0.4% at the end of August to 4.58 million available for sale, which represented a 10.0-month supply at the current sales pace. There was a 9.5-month supply at the end of July, revised from a previously estimated 9.6 months.
Existing-home sales tumbled in all regions. Sales dropped 5.2% in the Midwest, 2.0% in the Northeast, 9.8% in the West, and 2.7% in the South.
The average 30-year mortgage rate was 6.57% in August, down from 6.70% in July, according to Freddie Mac (FRE).
