    HOC, AG

Both of these are former 3X uptrenders that both hit their targets last month. AG is now up an additional 15% since last target.

I own a lot of ACLS and I'm down huge. Anyway, this company has good fundamental so I'm gonna hold it until it goes over $3 again.

51-12 is a pretty good record. It might not be 28 in a row, but it's still very impressive. It's also very impressive that this is only over a span of a little over a year. I hope that trend continues.

Here are the dirty dozen, the worst 12 uptrenders with date posted.

    -43.7%--AXTI Feb 7th
    -34.0----ACLS Dec 21
    -28.0----TIII Mar 8
    -23------OPLK Feb 9
    -17.6----RFMD Dec 7
    -12.1-----LFL Oct 20
    -10.6-----SRI Jan 5
    -10.5----GGAL Dec 1
    -4.1-----ORBK Jan 21
    -3.1-----IPGP Mar 24
    -2.7-----INTT Feb 7
    -1.1-----FSII Dec 22

There's still hope for several of these although it does seem they start
going bad after 9 weeks. Only 4 hit target after 60 days have past.

    Uptrenders-----the bad news

Had you bought the first 63 uptrenders, 48 or 76.2% would have made you 16% profit or more, several over 60%.

As of today, you'd have 51 gainers and 12 losers if you never sold.

4 of the remaining losers have lost less than 5%

3 have lost 10%-15% that is 4.8% of the 63

    1 has lost 17.6% (RFMD)

    1 has lost 23% (OPLK)

    1 has lost 28% (TIII)

    1 has lost 34% (ACLS)

1 has lost 43.7% (AXTI) as of today

Ironic as it is, I've owned 3 of the worst 5 and 4 of the worst 8.

A 15% stop loss would have sold the worst 5 but may have prevented the gains in some others.

I was going to come in here and say it blew by it target today. I got in at 48.39 and my limit order executed today at the target for a 17.46% gain. Pretty darn good for a week. Thanks.

You put in a lot of work on this and I thank you for it.

    em26jamie,
Thanks for the kind words. VV stands for Vectorvest. They often have a special where you can sign up for several weeks for $9.95. The demo would explain it all. I set up the volume parameters and daily price increase requirements then called customer support asking what vst number on the 0-2.0 scale was most significant in predicting future price appreciation. They told me that extensive backtesting showed that at 1.4 most stocks began to move. I combined the 1.4 with the 100,000 average daily volume with 50% daily volume increase and minimum 1.5% daily price increase to come up with the uptrender. Then checked the 2X uptrenders vs. the 3X uptrenders and found that the 3Xers outproduced by at least 25%.
