      Excellent win / loss ratio.

Morpheus says maintaining and sticking to strict "trading rules keeps the mind free from fear, greed, regret, and hope" I've still got great hopes every time I make a buy. For the time being staying in cash.

I think he is talking about a different kind of hope Billyjoe. Like wishing on one hand and shitting in the other and seeing which one fills up first.

I am not advising against honoring your stop, 7 % or whatever it is, but if you go back and reread Derons discipline regarding "the open" he always adheres to the principle of not making any trades, either getting in or out, before 10 a.m. because of gaps up or down usually, much more times than not, will come back to the price range/level they were at the close of the previous day or before the open around 10 a.m. AOS closed today at $49.11. It closed the previous day at $48.67 and opened this morning at $48.20 and by 10 a.m., if you look at the 5 min. chart, it had come back up to $48.60 and by 1 p.m. this afternoon was back above the previous days close of $48.67. I preach honoring your stops above all else but I also preach, and so does Deron, to never react to quickly and never make a trade or exit before 10 a.m. on a gap up or down. Always wait until at least 10 a.m. Get used to doing this and I promise you that you will save alot of your hard earned cash.

                    Ski,
Morpheus in their trade confirmations says "sold today at open 48.01 as it gapped below our stop". I wasn't home to sell until around 10 so I gained another .16. At least twice in the last month Morpheus has sold at the open for a loss and I did wait and in one case it made a $75 difference. Morpheus said 2 days ago AOS didn't look good and the chart shows it went bad almost from the moment it triggered a buy. Their stop was 48.60 and it never got above that number until about 1 pm today.

Morpheus sold their OIH short for $292 loss. I couldn't short in my IRA so bought DUG long and sold for loss of $302.20. This up/down market is killing us.
