Just checked the numbers for all buy/sells since beginning, about 2 1/2 months.

      Wins--10, Losses-6

      Ave. win $152.02 , Ave. loss $45.68

W/L ratio 3.33 and I'm presently holding 6 winners, 2 losers. May have some sells today.

Nicely done! When AMRN is bot-out, I'll have some free trading cash again. AMRN: 2 new patent allowances, waiting for FDA To decide in the next 10 days or so whether to grant NCE (new chemical entity) status to newly approved drug, which gives 5 years instead of 3 years free from generic challenge. Will help to determine company valuation.

Watch my posts or Morpheus for imminent take-over by big pharma immediately after decision. In time to reap profits.

River, Yes I had been reading your updates but also wanted to stay with the program and adhere to the stops. This time it got me. Another swing trading quote "Forget the news, remember the numbers. You're not smart enough to know how news will affect price. The chart knows and reflects it in the numbers" Farley, Master Swing Trader

Of course, in this case , the chart was wrong and Riverbabe was right.

That's a good quote. In the case of a buyout, the new price is the buyout price, which is not reflected in the chart until it happens. So you will miss it if you don't already own it on the basis of news.

I admire your emotional control with honoring your predetermined stops. Killer attitude Billy. I might just ask you to come along on one of my next situations.

Impressive Billyjoe. not large numbers but continuously showing a higher percentage of winners over losers and keeping the losers to a minimum. I would venture to say that your bankroll is definitely growing in a consistent manner. Please don't lose sight of what you are doing, how you are doing it, and that your pile is growning steadily. As long as you exhibit this type of emotional control eventually you will be rich. never lose sight of who you are and what you are doing. Definitely impressive.
