PotY Contest Standings As of Market Close, Dec 16, 2022

We are in the last leg of the race now, fellow pickers, and the leaderboard remains the same. BillyJoe’s UTHR remains our runaway leader followed by Mr. Market’s TLPPF and Antioch’s GRBK. The good news is that all three leaders are beating the indices, although only UTHR is in the money. All there is to do now is enjoy your eggnog and hold tight. Who knows, maybe Santa will bring a rally before the end of the year. I wouldn’t hold my breath, though. The market has been very naughty.

PotY Contest Standings As of Market Close, Dec 9, 2022

Well, another tepid week led to no change in our leader board. BillyJoe’s UTHR continues to maintain a sizable lead with Mr. Market’s TLPPF and Antioch’s GRBK holding down 2nd and 3rd respectively. TLPPF dipped back into the red but is still beating the three main indices. Where do we go from here? Well, I think you can expect light trading through the end of the year, so I’d be surprised to see any big moves in the market, but a pop here and there in an individual stock is not out of the question. Here’s hoping that one of those stocks is somebody’s pick. Stay the course and stand fast, and I’ll see you next week.

With COVID cases spiking across the country this Xmas season, I would think QDEL has a great chance of spiking up 30% or so by the end of this month.... was up to 98 earlier this week- so I still think a green finish is possible for me yet! (Maybe not the >40% pop that it'd take to beat Billyjoe, but at least a 2nd place finish if things work out just right)

QDEL is a good pick, and you’re right about it being possible for it to spike up. Right now, it’s basing at a near term high, having formed a bit of a bullish flag. The only thing that concerns me are the topping tails, but that’s the market as investors are still selling into rallies.

Stop the presses! Man the ramparts!! Put down that pastrami sandwich!!! We have another pick in the green!!!! That’s right folks, while BillyJoe’s UTHR remains our leader with a stout 37.98% gain, Mr. Market’s TLPPF went green this week and is beating all three indices. Congratulations, Mr. Market, for upholding the honor of the PotY contest. Antioch’s GRBK remains in third place, beating two of the three indices. To our leaders I say … Huzzah! Keep up the great picking work. We’re in the home stretch now. Can a third pick rocket up into the green before the end of the year? Only time will tell. Greetings fellow stock pickers and welcome to the 2022 PotY standings show, Thanksgiving edition. Well, the big news is … there is no news. The standings are almost exactly the same at the top as they were last week. BillyJoe’s UTHR continues to rule the world in 1st place with Mr. Market’s TLPPF in 2nd. Louetta, I think your pick isn't so bad... it's just misunderstood. I picked some of that GBTC up at just under $9 now, and I think it can run right back up to $15 or $20 by the end of this year, easily. It's now at a 40% discount to the value of the bitcoin that it holds, simply due to the other shady characters running bitcoin scams!
