$27.14... I've experimented with a few daytrades, but It hasn't done too well for me. I think I'll stick to longer term trades. I lost a few bucks on ELN, but it was a good lesson. Overall, today was an excellent day for me, though. SIRI is still kicking @$$! I really have expected SIRI to pull back, but it just keeps going up.

I just got through calculating my gains and losses for the year and I'm pleased by what I see. 25%...I'm sure a lot of you have done much better, but considering this is my first year of trading, I don't think that's too bad.

Sooo...How did ELN do for you today Spike?

Ya, daytrading is tough for sure. Timing is everything. But if you have the discipline to honor a stop then that's a good thing in my book. Believe me, I paid to learn that little lesson in daytrading.

We shall soon see if you're wise to continue to hold at this channel hit for SIRI. Congrats on the positive numbers for the year.

For me today, ELN treated me well. I got out for even on the position I was holding from the other day, and bought in at a discount of 80 cents. Now if will just give an overnight pop

ELN Jumping Higher in Evening Trade, Reports Say MS Drug Approved by FDA

Boston, Nov 23, 2004 (MidnightTrader via COMTEX) -- Elan (ELN) is higher in night trade following reports a hospital involved in the company's Antegren clinical trial prematurely released a statement that the MS drug was approved by the FDA. An FDA spokeswoman reportedly said it was not approved.

Ive been holding ELN since $25, this question is directed at Spike and king, At what price are you looking to sell if the approval goes through?
I will not sell mine unles it surpasses $36.

If you're up 25% in the first year of trading , I'd say that is great and beats 95% of all traders in their first year. This ain't 1997 anymore , wait till a really good year and you'll be a wealthy man . A tough trading year such as 2001 probably in the long run does more good than bad for those that keep it going until the light appears at the end of the tunnel. What can you learn when all your picks advance?

there really is no reason to sell ELN unless you need the profit, the upside is huge, this is the next BIG BIG thing ..think DNA $100 plus stock .. give it 12 months .... the real risky has been removed..Elan borrowed 1.3 BILLION on this drugs hopes just 2 weeks ago the science is there otherwise who would lend that type of money at a fair rate.. good luck to all ... remember IMCL went down after approval and recovered all the ground and alot more a month later .. Congrats webs, thats no easy feat (even with the HUGE ONE's help) I just checked my gains since Oct 03 when I first started til today. In a little over a year I turned 8767.36 into 10802.00 (right on the dollar somehow) which is 23.2% If I didn't have my PLNI disaster (see http://www.mrmarketishuge.com/forum/...=9097#post9097 note #17) I'd have $923.40 more, for a total return of 33%, but I consider it a valuable (if expensive) lesson.

Ive come across a former data dump pick from The huge one,namely ECPG,

It looks like a thing of beauty ,all channels show upward trend witha long term 30+.

It appears to me if you wait for a center channel touch,it upa from there consistantly.

Theyr'e postioned in the distressed credit niche,collections on bad notes,hardly a scarce commoditiy these days.

Any opinions? Still with DHB,targeting at least 22.

I see a reasonable upper channel around 55. Another one closer to 80. One of these would be good. By the time price gets up there, the channels will have moved, but you get the idea.

Headed to 24ish upper channel??
See the gray channel turn up was the whisper. The pink channel long was the day to take it.
Today's open was the agressive long at 20.43, based on the red channel turn up.

Barhumbug Yet again the stock market proves that there is many a slip between the cup and the lip. Stopped out ELN for -2.7%.
