I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Spike, I had put in a limit buy on TASR at 57.50, it didn't fill today. I've been trying to find a good entry point for it, and your help would be appriciated.
I missed DHB run by 3 cents two days ago. Had a buy order for NGPS today, but it ran up $3.00 without me. I had tough luck these days. Spike, I'm still holding CDE, and SIE. CDE has two sell-off days, will you consider re-enter? SIE has a really good run. What's reasonable target to you? THanks
I don't have a target so much as a time frame. I going to hold for a few years. This is an industry that, I believe, will experience phenomenal growth for the next few years. Satellite radio is in it's infancy, but will grow tremendously through car installs. GM and Toyota are offering XM radio, while Daimler-Chrysler, Ford, BMW, Mercedes, Volvo, Kenworth, Winnebago, and a few others are offering Sirius. XM is in the lead at this time, but I believe Sirius will eventually be the dominate player. Another important factor is the fact that XM and Sirius are the only two players.
The question of which one to invest in is a matter of choice. I considered buying into both XM and Sirius. I feel strongly that either one is a great long term investment.
So...what is my target? I'd have to say 2009 or $200 per share, whichever comes first.
PS About the question of the # of outstanding shares - There are quite a few outstanding shares, but I believe SIRI will buy back some of these shares when they become profitable. Of course, this will take a few years.

I don't really like it where it is. It's right near price resistance and I'd prefer it closer to a lower channel. If you must take it long this week, look for a big sell day and try to catch it at S2. I'll post if I see it near one.

Bad luck with missing DHB! I know what it's like to miss by a couple of pennies.
CDE - yes I will look for entry tomorrow at S1 or pivot or double bottom or wedge.
SIE 57.00 is what I'd aim for. The 12 month chart shows a upper channel at 58.00. Take your pick. With each day, they rise, so follow it up.
Thanks always for your wonderful charts and analysis.
I may add some CDE tomorrow too. Hope it would bounce from there. I used to enter my order when the stock price goes up. I'm afraid that the price would drop more afterward. That's another emotion I need to encounter.
Your'e welcome yaoyao
Still waiting for CDE entry. S1 is 4.61 and I'll wait for that.
Yes, buying strength is the natural human tendancy. We like the move up, we fear missing out, we buy seeing the confidence there on the chart, only to see price retrace on us. Buying weakness and at support is the trick
