08:10 ET Linktone guides Q3 below prior guidance (LTON) 9.07: This recent IPO announces preliminary Q3 expectations for sales of $13.1-$13.4 mln, below prior guidance of $13.7-$14.3 mln and vs conseneus of $13.5 mln (2 analysts). Excluding one-time expenses associated with financing activities that were discontinued due to market conditions, as well as office relocation expense, tax planning expense, and non-cash stock-based compensation expense, Q3 EPS now seen at $0.13-$0.14 vs consensus of $0.15 (2 analysts).

Hopefully I will hang in here long enough to give Mr. Market some competition. My VP candidate (MTEX) fell from an early 30% gain to a 10% gain. However just like those stinking Boston Red Sox, my president (ELOS) has been coming on strong. We'll see if I have what it takes to overcome the Yankees of stock picking.
